眾民僉曰、凡耶和華所諭、我必奉行、摩西乃以民言覆於耶和華、

眾論僉同、對曰、耶和華所諭、敢弗奉行、摩西乃以民言覆於耶和華、耶和華曰、我乘密雲、臨格爾上、我與爾言、俾民聽聞、而篤信爾、歷久弗渝。

眾民同聲相應曰、凡主所諭、我必遵行、摩西以民之言覆於主、

The people all responded together,“ We will do everything the Lord has said.” So Moses brought their answer back to the Lord.

Then all the people answered together and said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do!” And Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord.

他又把约书念给百姓听，百姓听了都说：“我们愿意遵行耶和华的一切吩咐，我们愿意顺服。”

摩西下山把耶和华的话和法令都告诉百姓，百姓齐声回答：“我们愿意遵行耶和华的一切吩咐。”

他们对摩西说：“求你跟我们说话，我们必听从。不要让上帝直接跟我们说话，恐怕我们会丧命！”

你们今天已经宣称耶和华是你们的上帝，答应要听从祂，行祂的道，遵守祂的一切律例、诫命和典章。耶和华今天已经照祂的应许宣称你们是祂的子民，是祂宝贵的产业。因此，你们要遵守祂的一切诫命，这样祂必使你们备受赞誉和尊崇，超越祂所造的万国，并照着祂的应许使你们做属于祂的圣洁子民。”

民众答道：“我们必事奉我们的上帝耶和华，听从祂的话。”

都跟随他们的贵族同胞起誓要谨遵上帝借祂仆人摩西颁布的律法，遵守我们的主耶和华的一切诫命、典章和律例。

你去听听我们上帝耶和华所说的话，然后回来告诉我们，我们必听从、遵行。’“耶和华听见了你们的话，就对我说，‘我听见了众人对你说的话，他们所说的都对。但愿他们常常敬畏我，遵从我的一切诫命，以便他们和他们的子孙世世代代可以蒙福。
