And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not near a woman.

摩西謂之曰、必為三日之備、勿近婦人、○

Then he said to the people,“ Prepare yourselves for the third day. Abstain from sexual relations.”

Then he spoke to the people. He said,“ Get ready for the third day. Don’t have sex.”

And he said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman.”

He told them,“ Get ready for the third day, and until then abstain from having sexual intercourse.”

He said to the people,“ Be prepared by the third day. Do not have sexual relations with women.”

He also said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman.”

And he said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day; do not come near your wives.”

He said to the people,“ Be prepared by the third day. Do not have sexual relations with women.”

And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at[ your] wives.

And the priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under my hand, but there is holy bread; if only the young men have kept themselves from women.And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept from us about these three days; when I came out, the vessels of the young men were holy, though it was but a common journey; how much more then to- day shall their vessels be holy?

Defraud ye not one the other, except it be by consent for a season, that ye may give yourselves unto prayer, and may be together again, that Satan tempt you not because of your incontinency.

and be ready against the third day; for the third day Jehovah will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

and to speak unto the priests of the house of Jehovah of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

And it came to pass on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of a trumpet exceeding loud; and all the people that were in the camp trembled.

But who can abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled strong horses.

gather the people, sanctify the assembly, assemble the old men, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts; let the bridegroom go forth from his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.

And even now the axe lieth at the root of the trees: every tree therefore that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.I indeed baptize you in water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing- floor; and he will gather his wheat into the garner, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.

Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy living and godliness,looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart;all the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
