人不自知其時、魚入於網、鳥罹於羅、患難猝臨之日、世人陷於其中、亦若是也、○

譬彼水族羽族、猝罹網羅、人遘飛殃、出於莫測者亦若是。

時勢或作終局如何、人不得知、如魚之入網、網原文作惡網如鳥之入羅、禍患忽臨於人、而人陷其中亦若是、○

Moreover, no one knows when their hour will come: As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so people are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them.

No one knows when trouble will come to them. Fish are caught in nets. Birds are taken in traps. And people are trapped by hard times that come when they don’t expect them.

For man does not know his time. Like fish that are taken in an evil net, and like birds that are caught in a snare, so the children of man are snared at an evil time, when it suddenly falls upon them.

People can never predict when hard times might come. Like fish in a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy.

For certainly no one knows his time: like fish caught in a cruel net or like birds caught in a trap, so people are trapped in an evil time as it suddenly falls on them.

For indeed, a person does not know his time: like fish that are caught in a treacherous net and birds caught in a snare, so the sons of mankind are ensnared at an evil time when it suddenly falls on them.

For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, Like birds caught in a snare, So the sons of men are snared in an evil time, When it falls suddenly upon them.

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

惡人被自己的罪纏住，義人卻常常歡喜歌唱。

當人們正在說一切平安穩妥的時候，災禍會像產痛臨到孕婦一樣突然臨到他們，令他們無法逃脫。

遵從王命的必免遭禍患，因為智者心裡懂得做事的時機和方法。儘管人面臨重重困難，但做任何事都有時機和方法。無人知道未來的事，誰能告訴人將來的事呢？

「你們要小心，不要被宴樂、醉酒和人生的掛慮所拖累，免得那日子像網羅般突然臨到你們，因為那日子將要這樣臨到世上每一個人。你們要時刻警醒，常常禱告，使你們能逃過這一切將要發生的災難，並能站在人子面前。」

「你們都知道，一家的主人若預先知道賊什麼時候來，一定不會讓賊入屋偷竊。

對犯罪者的刑罰不迅速執行，世人便盡情作惡。

你把他們放在容易滑倒的地方，使他們落入毀滅中。他們頃刻間被毀滅，在恐怖中徹底滅亡。他們不過是人醒來後的一場夢。主啊，你一行動，他們必灰飛煙滅。

你為何使人像海裡的魚，像沒有首領的爬蟲呢？迦勒底人用鉤子鉤住他們，用漁網網住他們，用拖網把他們聚在一起，並因此而歡喜快樂。迦勒底人向漁網獻祭，向漁網燒香，因為他們靠漁網而富裕，食物充足。難道他們要無休止地撒網，無情地毀滅列國嗎？

「人子降臨時的情形將像挪亞的時代，人們吃喝嫁娶，一直到挪亞進入方舟那天，洪水來了，毀滅了他們；又像羅得的時代，人們吃喝、做買賣、耕地、蓋房。在羅得離開所多瑪那天，烈火和硫磺從天而降，把他們全毀滅了。「人子顯現之日的情形也是如此。那天，在自己屋頂上的，不要下來收拾行李；在田裡工作的，也不要回家。

那青年立刻隨她而去，像走向屠宰場的公牛，又像掉入陷阱的雄鹿，直等到利箭射穿他的肝。他像隻自投網羅的飛鳥，渾然不知要賠上性命！

因此，災難必突然臨到，他們頃刻之間遭到毀滅，無可挽救。

祂要把烈焰熊熊的火炭和硫磺降在惡人身上，用炙熱的風懲罰他們。

說：「今天你若知道那能帶給你平安的事就好了！可惜這事現在是隱藏的，你看不見！因為有一天敵人要在你周圍築起壁壘把你團團圍住，四面攻擊你。他們要把你夷為平地，毀滅你城牆裡的兒女，不會留下兩塊疊在一起的石頭，因為你沒有認識到上帝眷顧你的時刻。」

但上帝對他說，『無知的人啊！今晚就要取走你的命！你所預備的一切留給誰享用呢？』」

你們在異教徒當中要品行端正。這樣，儘管他們毀謗你們是作惡的人，但看見你們的好行為，也會在主來的日子把榮耀歸給上帝。

他自陷網羅，步入圈套。套索纏住他的腳跟，網羅緊緊地罩住他。土裡埋著絆他的繩索，路上有陷阱等待著他。

你們的罪惡必像一堵斷裂、凸起的高牆，搖搖欲墜，瞬間倒塌，

但他們好像沒有理性，生下來就是預備讓人捉去宰殺的牲畜，連自己不懂的事也隨口毀謗。他們在毀壞別人的時候，自己也必滅亡。

因為祂說：「在悅納的時候，我應允了你；在拯救的日子，我幫助了你。」看啊，現在正是悅納的時候！看啊，現在正是拯救的日子！

讓他們這些被魔鬼擄去、受其擺佈的人能夠醒悟過來，脫離魔鬼的網羅。
