彼恃貨財、誇豐富兮、然生命將絕、雖有密友不能贖之、而上帝錫以齡兮、生命之價、既貴且昂、欲贖無從兮、不能壽世而體不朽兮、

維彼惡人、雨置諸險滑之途、擲諸死亡之地兮、猝然喪敗、殲滅殆盡、主勃然而興、如夢警醒、藐視其浮華兮。昔予中心不安、如酒方醞釀、如刃刺衷懷兮。余愚蠢無知、無異禽獸兮。余恆存爾前。爾左右兮。願爾以智慧之心、導予入榮光之域兮。在彼穹蒼、仰望者誰、在彼陸地、欣羨者誰、豈非爾兮。我體我心、咸可消亡、我所恃以得大力、賴以邀永福者、惟一上帝兮、遠離爾者必亡、縱私欲、不爾順者、必滅兮、我惟上帝是親、恆為依賴、述其經綸、堪獲福祉兮。

播辱而甦榮、播柔而甦強、

則爾與死亡所結之約不固、陰府所訂之盟弗堅、行潦淹於斯土、爾其淪亡、

如定其意旨、不使人通呼吸、

我眾終必有死、如水傾地、不能復聚、故上帝不使償命、別設一法、俾亡者得免驅逐。
