未來之事、人不能知、將成之事、孰能預告之、

Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?

No one knows what lies ahead. So who can tell someone else what’s going to happen?

For he does not know what is to be, for who can tell him how it will be?

Indeed, how can people avoid what they don’t know is going to happen?

Yet no one knows what will happen because who can tell him what will happen?

If no one knows what will happen, who can tell him when it will happen?

For he does not know what will happen; So who can tell him when it will occur?

for he knoweth not that which shall be; for who can tell him how it shall be?

Yet no one knows what will happen because who can tell him what will happen?

Surely no one knows the future, and no one can tell another person what will happen.

For he doesn’t know that which will be; for who can tell him how it will be?

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so[ are] the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?

A fool also is full of words: a man cannot tell what shall be; and what shall be after him, who can tell him?

For who knoweth what[ is] good for man in[ this] life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.But the wise answered, saying,[ Not so]; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for[ him], and in an hour that he is not aware of,

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

He, that being often reproved hardeneth[ his] neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Wherefore I perceive that[ there is] nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that[ is] his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?
