年饑而民餒、體熱而人廢、絕於疫癘、嚙於獸齒、傷於毒蛇、

使其受饑而體瘦、見消於熱疫毒癘、使野獸之齒害之、腹行者之毒傷之、

I will send wasting famine against them, consuming pestilence and deadly plague; I will send against them the fangs of wild beasts, the venom of vipers that glide in the dust.

I will send them hunger. It will make them weak. I will send terrible sickness. I will send deadly plagues. I will send wild animals that will tear them apart. Snakes that glide through the dust will bite them.

我也要打发野地的走兽到你们中间，抢吃你们的儿女，吞灭你们的牲畜，使你们的人数减少，道路荒凉。

又要使饥荒和恶兽到你那里，叫你丧子，瘟疫和流血的事也必盛行在你那里；我也要使刀剑临到你。这是我耶和华说的。”

我若使恶兽经过糟践那地，使地荒凉，以致因这些兽，人都不得经过；

耶和华说：“我命定四样害他们，就是刀剑杀戮、狗类撕裂、空中的飞鸟，和地上的野兽吞吃毁灭；

我若出往田间，就见有被刀杀的；我若进入城内，就见有因饥荒患病的；连先知带祭司在国中往来，也是毫无知识。’”

就是勇士的利箭和罗腾木的炭火。

因饥饿燥热，我们的皮肤就黑如炉。

也不怕黑夜行的瘟疫，或是午间灭人的毒病。

他们必死得甚苦，无人哀哭，必不得葬埋，必在地上像粪土，必被刀剑和饥荒灭绝；他们的尸首必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物。”

虽然藏在迦密山顶，我必搜寻，捉出他们来；虽然从我眼前藏在海底，我必命蛇咬他们；

主耶和华如此说：“我将这四样大灾，就是刀剑、饥荒、恶兽、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，将人与牲畜从其中剪除，岂不更重吗？

豺狼必与羊羔同食；狮子必吃草与牛一样；尘土必作蛇的食物。在我圣山的遍处，这一切都不伤人，不害物。这是耶和华说的。”

在他前面有瘟疫流行；在他脚下有热症发出。

他以安静为佳，以肥地为美，便低肩背重，成为服苦的仆人。

因他面前的光辉，他的厚云行过便有冰雹火炭。耶和华也在天上打雷；至高者发出声音便有冰雹火炭。他射出箭来，使仇敌四散；多多发出闪电，使他们扰乱。

想望耶和华日子来到的有祸了！你们为何想望耶和华的日子呢？那日黑暗没有光明，景况好像人躲避狮子又遇见熊，或是进房屋以手靠墙，就被蛇咬。

耶和华神对蛇说：“你既做了这事，就必受咒诅，比一切的牲畜野兽更甚；你必用肚子行走，终身吃土。

你在仇敌围困窘迫之中，必吃你本身所生的，就是耶和华你神所赐给你的儿女之肉。

吃奶孩子的舌头因干渴贴住上膛；孩童求饼，无人擘给他们。素来吃美好食物的，现今在街上变为孤寒；素来卧朱红褥子的，现今躺卧粪堆。都因我众民的罪孽比所多玛的罪还大；所多玛虽然无人加手于她，还是转眼之间被倾覆。锡安的贵胄素来比雪纯净，比奶更白；他们的身体比红宝玉更红，像光润的蓝宝石一样。现在他们的面貌比煤炭更黑，以致在街上无人认识；他们的皮肤紧贴骨头，枯干如同槁木。饿死的不如被刀杀的，因为这是缺了田间的土产，就身体衰弱，渐渐消灭。

耶和华要用痨病、热病、火症、疟疾、刀剑、旱风、霉烂攻击你。这都要追赶你，直到你灭亡。
