Behold, his bed was a bed of iron. Is it not in Rabbah of the Ammonites? Nine cubits was its length, and four cubits its breadth, according to the common cubit.)

And you shall consume all the peoples that the Lord your God will give over to you. Your eye shall not pity them, neither shall you serve their gods, for that would be a snare to you.

And Og the king of Bashan came out against them, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.But the Lord said to Moses,“ Do not fear him, for I have given him into your hand, and all his people, and his land. And you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”So they defeated him and his sons and all his people, until he had no survivor left. And they possessed his land.

and when the Lord your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must devote them to complete destruction. You shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them.

And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you.I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you.Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land.And I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates, for I will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.
