所以，你们当悔改归正，使你们的罪得以涂去，

我先在大马士革，后在耶路撒冷和犹太全地，以及外邦，劝勉他们应当悔改归向上帝，行事与悔改的心相称。

你们在那里必寻求耶和华—你的上帝。你若尽心尽性寻求他，就必寻见。

你必回转，听从耶和华的话，遵行他的一切诫命，就是我今日所吩咐你的。

恶人转离他的恶，行公平公义的事，他必因此而存活。

你们为何花钱买那不是食物的东西，用劳碌得来的买那无法使人饱足的呢？你们要留意听从我的话，就能吃那美物，得享肥甘，心中喜乐。当侧耳而听，来到我这里；要听，就必存活。我要与你们立永约，就是应许给大卫那可靠的慈爱。

我对恶人说：‘你必死亡！’他若转离他的罪恶，行公平公义的事；

你要对他们说，主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，我断不喜悦恶人死亡，惟喜悦恶人转离他所行的道而存活。以色列家啊，你们回转，回转离开恶道吧！何必死亡呢？

让我们省察，检讨自己的行为，归向耶和华吧！让我们献上我们的心，向天上的上帝举手！

但你们若归向我，谨守遵行我的诫命，你们被赶散的人虽在天涯，我也必从那里将他们召集回来，带到我所选择立为我名居所的地方。’

“恶人若回转离开所做的一切罪恶，谨守我的一切律例，行公平公义的事，他必要存活，不致死亡。
