He has declared that he will set you in praise, fame and honor high above all the nations he has made and that you will be a people holy to the Lord your God, as he promised.

He has announced that he will make you famous. He’ll give you more praise and honor than all the other nations he has made. And he has said that you will be a holy nation. The Lord your God has set you apart for himself. That’s exactly what he promised to do.

然而你们是蒙拣选的族类，是君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国民，是属神的子民，为要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

哪一个大国的人有神与他们这样亲近，像耶和华我们的神，在我们每次呼求他的时候，与我们亲近一样呢？又哪一个大国有这样公义的律例和典章，像我今日在你面前颁布的这一切律法呢？

也就像活石，被建造成为灵宫，作圣洁的祭司，藉着耶稣基督献上蒙神悦纳的灵祭。

又从那信实的见证人、死人中首先复生的、地上众君王的统治者耶稣基督临到你们。他爱我们，用自己的血把我们从我们的罪中释放出来，又使我们成为国度，作他父神的祭司。愿荣耀权能都归给他，直到永永远远。阿们。

这城必在地上万国面前使我得名声，得喜乐（按照《马索拉文本》，“得名声，得喜乐”应作“得喜乐的名声”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译），得颂赞，得荣耀，因为万国必听见我向这城的人所施的一切福乐。他们因我向这城所施的一切福乐和平安，就都恐惧战兢。’

看哪！那时我必对付一切苦待你的人；我必拯救那些瘸腿的，聚集那些被赶散的；在全地受羞辱的，我必使他们得称赞，有名声。

如果你谨守耶和华你的神的诫命，遵守他的道路，耶和华就必照着他向你起过的誓，立你作他自己的圣民。

又把鼻环戴在你鼻子上，把耳环戴在你耳朵上，把美丽的冠冕戴在你头上。这样你就有了金银的装饰，你穿的是细麻、丝绸和刺绣的衣服；你吃的是细面、蜂蜜和油；你实在非常美丽，配登王后的位。你的名声因你的美丽传遍列国，你全然美丽，是因为我加在你身上的荣美。这是主耶和华的宣告。

他使自己子民的角得以高举（“他使自己子民的角得以高举”或译：“他为自己的子民兴起一个君王”；“君王”原文作“角”），他所有的圣民，就是和他接近的以色列人，都赞美他。你们要赞美耶和华。

他们要从万国中用马、用车、用轿、用骡子、用独峰驼，把你们所有的兄弟都送到我的圣山耶路撒冷来，作供物献给耶和华，好像以色列人用洁净的器皿把供物送到耶和华的殿一样；这是耶和华说的。耶和华说：“我也必从他们中间取些人作祭司和作利未人。”

因为腰带怎样紧贴着人的腰，我也曾怎样使以色列全家和犹大全家紧贴着我，好使他们作我的子民，叫我得名声，得赞美，得荣耀；可是他们却不听从。’”这是耶和华的宣告。

耶和华必使你作头不作尾，居上不居下，只要你听从耶和华你的神的诫命，就是我今日吩咐你的，谨守遵行；
