The Lord your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul.

“你们活在地上的一切日子，在耶和华你列祖的神赐给你作产业的地上，要谨守遵行的律例和典章，就是这些：

“以色列人哪，现在你们要听我向来教训你们遵行的律例和典章，使你们可以活着，可以进去得着耶和华你们列祖的神赐给你们的地作产业。我吩咐你们的话，你们不可增加，也不可减少，好使你们遵守我吩咐你们的，就是耶和华你们的神的命令。耶和华因巴力．毗珥的事所行的，你们都亲眼看见了；所有跟随巴力．毗珥的人，耶和华你们的神都从你们中间消灭了。只有你们紧紧倚靠耶和华你们的神的人，今日全都活着。看哪，我照着耶和华我的神吩咐我的，把律例和典章教训你们，好让你们在将要进去得为业的地上遵行。所以你们要谨守遵行，因为在万民的眼中看来，这就是你们的智慧和聪明；他们一听见这一切律例，就必定说：‘这大国的人真是有智慧，有聪明啊。’

你不可听从那先知或作梦的人的话；因为耶和华你们的神试验你们，要知道你们是不是一心一意爱耶和华你们的神。你们要顺从耶和华你们的神，敬畏他，遵守他的诫命，听从他的话，事奉他，紧靠他。

那领受我的命令，并且遵守的，就是爱我的；爱我的，我父必定爱他，我也要爱他，并且要亲自向他显现。”犹大（不是加略人犹大）对耶稣说：“主啊，你为什么要亲自向我们显现，不向世人显现呢？”耶稣回答：“人若爱我，就要遵守我的话，我父必定爱他，并且我们要到他那里去，跟他住在一起。不爱我的，就不会遵守我的话。你们所听见的道，不是我的，而是那差我来的父的道。

“所以你要爱耶和华你的神，常常遵守他的吩咐、律例、典章和诫命。

我吩咐你们的一切，都要教导他们遵守。这样，我就常常与你们同在，直到这世代的终结。”

要谨慎遵守耶和华你们的神吩咐你的诫命、法度和律例。

你也要记念耶和华你的神这四十年在旷野引导你的一切路程，为要使你受苦，要试炼你，要知道你心里怎样，看看你肯守他的诫命不肯。

“我吩咐你们的一切话，你们都要谨守遵行，不可加添，也不可减少。”（本节在《马索拉文本》为13:1）

“以下是耶和华你们的神吩咐我教导你们的诫命、律例、典章，使你们在将要过去占领为业的地上遵行，

“所以你们要遵守我今日吩咐你的一切诫命，使你们坚强起来，可以进去得着你们将要过去得的那地，

你要全心、全性、全力爱耶和华你的神。

但你们在那里必寻求耶和华你的神；如果你一心一意寻找他，就必寻见。
