“ When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you take possession of it and live in it,

When you have entered the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance and have taken possession of it and settled in it,

You will enter the land the Lord your God is giving you as your own. You will take it over. You will make your homes in the land.

“ When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance and have taken possession of it and live in it,

“ When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you as a special possession and you have conquered it and settled there,

“ Then it shall be, when you enter the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you take possession of it and live in it,

“ And it shall be, when you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you possess it and dwell in it,

And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein,

“ When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you take possession of it and live in it,

And it shall be, when thou[ art] come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee[ for] an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;

It shall be, when you have come in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance, possess it, and dwell in it,

“ When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, take possession of it, live in it, and say,‘ I will set a king over me like all the nations around me,’

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: After you enter the land where I am bringing you,

“ When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not imitate the detestable customs of those nations.

“ This is the command— the statutes and ordinances— the LORD your God has commanded me to teach you, so that you may follow them in the land you are about to enter and possess.Do this so that you may fear the LORD your God all the days of your life by keeping all his statutes and commands I am giving you, your son, and your grandson, and so that you may have a long life.Listen, Israel, and be careful to follow them, so that you may prosper and multiply greatly, because the LORD, the God of your ancestors, has promised you a land flowing with milk and honey.“ Listen, Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart.Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead.Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your city gates.“ When the LORD your God brings you into the land he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that he would give you— a land with large and beautiful cities that you did not build,

“ If a prophet or someone who has dreams arises among you and proclaims a sign or wonder to you,

Instead, you must kill him. Your hand is to be the first against him to put him to death, and then the hands of all the people.

But you stand here with me, and I will tell you every command— the statutes and ordinances— you are to teach them, so that they may follow them in the land I am giving them to possess.’

“ When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess, and he drives out many nations before you— the Hethites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and powerful than you—

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land I am giving you to settle in,
