『單獨一個見證人不能起來指證一個人有甚麼愆尤或甚麼罪，就是說不能指證他所犯的任何罪，總要憑着兩個見證人的口、或三個見證人的口、罪案才能成立。

One witness is not enough to convict anyone accused of any crime or offense they may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Suppose someone is charged with committing a crime of any kind. Then one witness won’t be enough to prove that person is guilty. Every matter must be proved by the words of two or three witnesses.

我要賜權柄叫我那兩個捨生作證人披着麻衣傳講神言、一千二百六十天。』他們就是那兩棵橄欖樹、兩個燈臺、立在大地之主面前的。若有人想要傷害他們，就必有火從他們口中噴出，去燒滅他們的仇敵；若有人想要傷害他們，就必定這樣被殺。這兩個人有權柄把天閉塞着，叫雨水在他們傳講神言的日子不下來；又有權柄掌管眾水、叫水變成了血；他們並且能用各樣災殃、按所要的次數擊打大地。他們作完了他們的見證時，那從無底坑裏上來的獸必對他們作戰，勝過他們，殺死他們。
