而天地萬物、皆藉基督咸得與天主重相契合、而歸於太和；而其所以致此太和者、則十字架上所流之寶血耳。

且由之使萬有復和於己、乃以其十架之血而致和、在地在天者皆然、

既流血於十字架、致人平康、父緣此令天地萬有、得親於己、

God was pleased to bring all things back to himself. That’s because of what Christ has done. These things include everything on earth and in heaven. God made peace through Christ’s blood, by his death on the cross.

and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.

凡此皆天主之所賜也。天主既藉基督賜吾人復得承歡、又賜吾儕參贊重歡之事。申言之天主實寓基督內、慨然賜世人與之言歸於好、而不復計其舊惡、更簡吾儕專司重歡之道；是則吾儕代表基督、而為天主之星使、不啻天主假吾儕之口而作勸勉焉。因此、吾儕代表基督、剴切求爾、速與天主重歡。夫以毫無罪孽之基督、天主竟使其為吾人之故、成為罪孽、亦欲令吾人因基督之功、而成天主之正義云耳。

預定聖謨；時既成熟、乃予以實現、俾天地萬有、在基督之身、合為一體、而統於一尊。

夫天主竟遣其惟一之聖子降世、俾吾人得賴之以生、天主之垂愛吾人、不已明乎。吾人未愛天主、而天主先愛吾人、且遣其聖子、為吾人之罪惡、作息怒之犧牲；愛德即在斯中。

爾等前因惡業向與天主睽隔；今則藉基督之死、托基督之身、而得與之融融洩洩、重相契合矣。基督且欲使爾等純潔無疵、無可指摘、而獻之於天主之前；

今則不然、爾托耶穌基督之恩、藉其聖血、已得化疏為親矣。蓋基督者、吾人之協和也；身受苦難、以去壁壘之隔、除法令之障。於彼之身、本族外族融成一體、以作新人、以建和平。更以此融成一體之二族、與天主協和於十字架上。十字架者、所以消滅一切敵對之意也。夫基督之來、為傳佈和平之福音。當時爾等在遐、我等在邇、其得親聆斯音則一也。

因此、彼不得不與眾兄弟儘量同化、俾在天主臺前、得充一忠心耿耿、富於同情之大司祭且為萬民之罪、而自獻為消怒之犧牲。

吾人既因信德而成義、則當托庇吾主耶穌基督、融融洩洩以親天主矣。

但能小心翼翼以事主兮。應證救恩之實邇。行見光榮之重臨兮。盤桓乎吾地。仁慈共妙諦交歡。正義與和平吻合。

願平安之天主、曩憑永約之血、使吾主耶穌基督自死者中復活、而為群羊之大牧者、賜爾才備德全、克行厥旨；並因耶穌基督、玉汝於成、俾有以慰愜天心也。願其享受光榮、永世靡暨、心焉祝之。

使天上人間乃至地下一切生靈、莫不聞其名而屈膝、

『天主受享榮福於天！良人受享平安於地！』
