爾曹在郇安逸者、在撒瑪利亞山自謂有倚恃者、在列國中名最著者、以色列人所歸者、必有禍、

Woe to you who are complacent in Zion, and to you who feel secure on Mount Samaria, you notable men of the foremost nation, to whom the people of Israel come!

How terrible it will be for you men who are so contented on Mount Zion! How terrible for you who feel secure on the hill of Samaria! You are famous men from the greatest nation. The people of Israel come to you for help and advice.

“ Woe to those who are at ease in Zion, and to those who feel secure on the mountain of Samaria, the notable men of the first of the nations, to whom the house of Israel comes!

What sorrow awaits you who lounge in luxury in Jerusalem, and you who feel secure in Samaria! You are famous and popular in Israel, and people go to you for help.

Woe to those who are at ease in Zion and to those who feel secure on the hill of Samaria— the notable people in this first of the nations, those the house of Israel comes to.

Woe to those who are carefree in Zion, And to those who feel secure on the mountain of Samaria, The dignitaries of the foremost of nations, To whom the house of Israel comes.

Woe to you who are at ease in Zion, And trust in Mount Samaria, Notable persons in the chief nation, To whom the house of Israel comes!

Woe to those who live in ease in Zion, to those who feel secure on Mount Samaria. They think of themselves as the elite class of the best nation. The family of Israel looks to them for leadership.

你們在地上宴樂奢侈；當屠宰的日子還養肥了自己！

安逸的婦女啊，起來聽我的聲音哦；漫不在乎的女子啊，側耳聽我所說的話哦。漫不在乎的女人哪，再過一年零幾天，你就必戰抖了；因為葡萄之割取必斷絕，果子必收成不來。安逸的女人哪，震顫哦！漫不在乎的女人哪，戰抖哦！脫下衣服，赤着身子，把麻布束腰哦！

就自己心裏議論說：「我沒有地方收集我的果實、要怎麼辦呢？」就說：「我要這麼辦：我要把我的倉房拆下來，建造更大的。我要收集我一切的五穀和財物在那裏；然後對自己說，人哪，你有許多財物存放着、做許多年的用處；你安逸度日，喫喝快樂吧！」但上帝卻對他說：「糊塗人哪，就在今天夜裏，你的財物就要要你的命了！你所豫備的、要歸誰呢？」

『在撒瑪利亞山的巴珊母牛啊，你們要聽這話！你們欺壓貧寒，壓碎窮苦，對你們的丈夫說：「拿來，我們喫喝吧！」

那時我必拿燈探照耶路撒冷，我必察罰那些懶散人，那些沉澱於糟滓上的，那些心裏想着說：「永恆主必不降福，也不降禍」的。

如今你們若留心聽我的聲音，守我的約，你們就可以在萬族之民中做屬我的產業，因為全地都是我的。你們要歸我做祭司之國，做聖別之邦」：這些話是你所應當對以色列人說的。』

五人就走，來到拉億，看見其中的人民安居無慮，如同西頓人那樣，泰然自若、安心無慮；那地又沒有人抑制他們甚麼事；他們離西頓人也遠，和別人沒有來往。

永恆主發神諭說，起來，上安安逸逸的國去！上居安無慮之民那裏去！他們是無門無閂、獨自住居的。

他照他的意思、用真理之道生了我們，要使我們做他所創造的萬物中一種初熟的果子。

『摩押自從幼年以來就安安逸逸，靜澱在糟滓之上，沒有從這器皿倒到那器皿；他未曾流亡去；因為他的原味尚存，其香氣未變。

怎麼啦！先前滿有人民的城，現在竟自獨坐啊！先前在列國中為大的，現在竟如寡婦啊！先前在諸省中為王后的，現在竟成了作苦工的啊！

暗利用兩擔銀子向撒瑪買了撒瑪利亞山；把山加以建造，就按山的原主撒瑪的名字給所建造的城起名叫撒瑪利亞。

你們要將一切掛慮卸給他，因為他關心於你們。

錫安中的罪人都恐懼；不拜上帝的人被震顫抓住了，說：『我們中間誰能和吞滅的火同住呢？我們中間誰能和永遠的燃燒物同居呢？』

你們不要倚靠虛假的話，說：「這些房屋是永恆主的殿堂，是永恆主的殿堂，是永恆主的殿堂。」

那些指着撒瑪利亞的亞示瑪女神來起誓的說：「但哪，我們指着你的神來起誓」，或說：「我們指着別是巴的護衛神『道』來起誓：」這種人都必仆倒，不能再起立。』

但你們富足的人有禍啊！因為你們已經收到了你們的安慰。你們現今飽足的人有禍啊！因為你們必饑餓。現今喜笑的人有禍啊！因為你們必哀慟哭泣。
