He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns midnight into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord made the Pleiades and Orion. He turns midnight into sunrise. He makes the day fade into night. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, and turns deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the Lord is his name;

It is the Lord who created the stars, the Pleiades and Orion. He turns darkness into morning and day into night. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

你設立黑暗，就有了夜，森林中的百獸在夜間爬行；

一些人坐在黑暗和死蔭裡，是苦難和鐵索中的被囚者；他們悖逆了神的言語，藐視至高者的旨意；因此神用勞苦使他們的心謙卑下來；他們絆倒，也沒有人幫助。於是他們在危難中向耶和華哀求，他就拯救他們脫離困境；他把他們從黑暗和死蔭裡領出來，拉斷他們的繩索。

他發出黑暗，使那地黑暗；誰也沒有違背他的話。

挪亞六百歲那年的二月十七日，就在那一天，巨大深淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的窗戶也敞開了——大雨降在地上四十晝夜——就在那一天，挪亞與他的兒子閃、含、雅弗，以及他的妻子和三個兒媳一起進入方舟；與他們一起的，還有一切野獸，各從其類；一切牲畜，各從其類；在地上活動的一切動物，各從其類；一切飛禽，就是一切有翅膀的鳥類，各從其類。這樣，一切有生命氣息的，就是有血肉的，都一對一對到挪亞那裡，進入方舟。各樣有血肉的，都是公母成雙進去的，是照著神所吩咐挪亞的話進去的。然後耶和華在挪亞後面關上了門。洪水在地上持續了四十天，水不斷上漲，把方舟托起，方舟就從地上浮了起來。水勢強盛，在地上大大上漲，方舟在水面上漂行。水勢在地上極其強盛，天下所有的高山都被淹沒了。水勢繼續強盛，高出群山十五肘，群山都被淹沒了。

照亮那些坐在黑暗和死亡陰影中的人，引導我們的腳步進入平安之路。」

我要使瞎眼之人走上他們不認識的道，踏上他們不認識的路；我要使黑暗在他們面前變為光明，使崎嶇之處變為平地——我必成就這些事。我不會離棄他們。

你使深淵的水如同衣袍遮蓋大地，眾水高過群山。眾水因你的斥責而逃遁，因你的雷聲而奔逃；眾水向上漫過群山，向下流入山谷，歸到你為它們指定的地方。你設立了界限，它們就不能越過，不再轉回遮蓋大地。

那坐在黑暗中的民眾看到了大光；那坐在死亡之地和死亡陰影中的人們，曙光為他們升起。」

我們像瞎眼的沿著牆壁摸索，像沒有眼睛一樣摸索；我們在正午像在黃昏時那樣絆倒；我們在健壯人中就像死人一樣。
