So Ananias departed and entered the house, placed his hands on Saul and said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came here, has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord— Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here— has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. He placed his hands on Saul.“ Brother Saul,” he said,“ you saw the Lord Jesus. He appeared to you on the road as you were coming here. He has sent me so that you will be able to see again. You will be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

So Ananias went and found Saul. He laid his hands on him and said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you might regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Ananias went and entered the house. He placed his hands on him and said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road you were traveling, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

So Ananias departed and entered the house, and after laying his hands on him said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

And Ananias departed, and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared unto thee in the way which thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

So Ananias left and entered the house. Then he placed his hands on him and said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road you were traveling, has sent me so that you can regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord,[ even] Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Ananias departed and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak in other languages as the Spirit enabled them.

Then Peter and John placed their hands on the Samaritans, and they received the Holy Spirit.

They stood these men before the apostles, who prayed and placed their hands on them.

A man named Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well spoken of by all the Jews who live there,came to me and stood beside me and said to me,‘ Brother Saul, regain your sight!’ And at that very moment I looked up and saw him.Then he said,‘ The God of our ancestors has already chosen you to know his will, to see the Righteous One, and to hear a command from his mouth,

Do not lay hands on anyone hastily and so identify with the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.

And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

Today your Savior is born in the city of David. He is Christ the Lord.

Do not neglect the spiritual gift you have, given to you and confirmed by prophetic words when the elders laid hands on you.

Because of this I remind you to rekindle God’s gift that you possess through the laying on of my hands.

Joseph said to his brothers,“ Come closer to me,” so they came near. Then he said,“ I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.

When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God courageously.

The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.

Receive one another, then, just as Christ also received you, to God’s glory.

So I said,‘ Who are you, Lord?’ And the Lord replied,‘ I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.

And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High. For you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,

You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ( he is Lord of all)–

Last of all, as though to one born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.

and when Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they began to speak in tongues and to prophesy.

When they heard this, they praised God. Then they said to him,“ You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who have believed, and they are all ardent observers of the law.

But when this son of yours came back, who has devoured your assets with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him!’

Then little children were brought to him for him to lay his hands on them and pray. But the disciples scolded those who brought them.

no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, as a dear brother. He is especially so to me, and even more so to you now, both humanly speaking and in the Lord.

teaching about baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

Then, after they had fasted and prayed and placed their hands on them, they sent them off.

You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart.You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.

He will turn many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God.And he will go as forerunner before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared for him.”

He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”So he said,“ Who are you, Lord?” He replied,“ I am Jesus whom you are persecuting!

He was not able to do a miracle there, except to lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

So Saul got up from the ground, but although his eyes were open, he could see nothing. Leading him by the hand, his companions brought him into Damascus.For three days he could not see, and he neither ate nor drank anything.Now there was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision,“ Ananias,” and he replied,“ Here I am, Lord.”Then the Lord told him,“ Get up and go to the street called‘ Straight,’ and at Judas’ house look for a man from Tarsus named Saul. For he is praying,and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he may see again.”But Ananias replied,“ Lord, I have heard from many people about this man, how much harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem,and here he has authority from the chief priests to imprison all who call on your name!”But the Lord said to him,“ Go, because this man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before Gentiles and kings and the people of Israel.

It was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost and is found.’”
