又賣了田產和家業，照每一個人所需要的分給他們。

耶和華的聖民哪，你們當敬畏他，因敬畏他的一無所缺。少壯獅子尚且缺食忍餓，但尋求耶和華的甚麼好處都不缺。

因為耶和華－你的神在你手裏所做的一切事上已賜福給你。你走這大曠野，他都知道。這四十年，耶和華－你的神與你同在，因此你一無所缺。』

我又告訴你們，要藉着那不義的錢財結交朋友，到了錢財無用的時候，他們可以接你們到永遠的住處去。

你們要變賣財產賙濟人，為自己預備永不壞的錢囊和用不盡的財寶在天上，就是賊不能近，蟲不能蛀的地方。

耶穌又對他們說：「我差你們出去的時候，沒有錢囊，沒有行囊，沒有鞋子，你們缺少甚麼沒有？」他們說：「沒有。」

耶穌說：「你若願意作完全人，去變賣你所擁有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在天上；然後來跟從我。」

耶穌看着他，就愛他，對他說：「你還缺少一件：去變賣你所有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在天上；然後來跟從我。」

為自己積存財富，而為將來打美好的根基，好使他們能把握那真正的生命。

在神－我們的父面前，清潔沒有玷污的虔誠就是看顧在患難中的孤兒寡婦，並且保守自己不沾染世俗。

他有田地，也賣了，把錢拿來，放在使徒腳前。有一個人，名叫亞拿尼亞，同他的妻子撒非喇，賣了田產，把錢私自留下一部分，他的妻子也知道，其餘的部分拿來放在使徒腳前。彼得說：「亞拿尼亞！為甚麼撒但充滿了你的心，使你欺騙聖靈，把賣田地的錢私自留下一部分呢？

好使你們的行為能得外人的尊敬，同時也不依賴任何人。
