Ahithophel answered,“ Your father left some concubines behind to take care of the palace. Go and sleep with them. Then all the Israelites will hear about it. They will hear that you have made your father hate you. Everyone with you will be encouraged to give you more support.”

亚希多弗对押沙龙说：“你父所留下看守宫殿的妃嫔，你可以与她们亲近。以色列众人听见你父亲憎恶你，凡归顺你人的手就更坚强。”

亚希多弗说：“你父亲留下几个妃嫔看守宫殿，你要跟她们同寝，叫所有的以色列人知道你与父亲誓不两立，这样支持你的人会更坚定。”

亚希多弗对押沙龙说：“你去与你父亲留下来看守王宫的那些妃嫔亲近，这样以色列众人听见你与你父亲已经完全决裂，所有跟随你的人的手就都更坚强了。”

亞希多弗對押沙龍說：『你進去找你父親所留下來看家的妃嬪；以色列眾人聽見你被父親看為臭氣，凡歸順你的人、他們的手就更堅強了。』

亞希多弗對押沙龍說：「你去與你父親所留下看守宮殿的妃嬪們同房，這樣全以色列都會聽到你被你父親憎惡，所有隨同你的人就更加堅強。」

亞希多弗曰、爾父留妃以守宮闈、爾入其中、以色列眾聞爾為父所憾、則從爾者、皆強厥手矣、

對曰、爾父留妃以守宮闈、爾與偕寢、以色列族中知爾為父所憾、必協力助爾。

亞希多弗對押沙龍曰、爾父留妃嬪以守宮殿、爾盍與之偕寢、以色列人聞爾行此、知爾父必憾爾、或作以色列人聞爾行此必以為爾父難與爾和好凡從爾者心愈堅定、心愈堅定或作愈協力助爾

Ahithophel answered,“ Sleep with your father’s concubines whom he left to take care of the palace. Then all Israel will hear that you have made yourself obnoxious to your father, and the hands of everyone with you will be more resolute.”

Ahithophel said to Absalom,“ Go in to your father’s concubines, whom he has left to keep the house, and all Israel will hear that you have made yourself a stench to your father, and the hands of all who are with you will be strengthened.”

Ahithophel told him,“ Go and sleep with your father’s concubines, for he has left them here to look after the palace. Then all Israel will know that you have insulted your father beyond hope of reconciliation, and they will throw their support to you.”

Ahithophel replied to Absalom,“ Sleep with your father’s concubines whom he left to take care of the palace. When all Israel hears that you have become repulsive to your father, everyone with you will be encouraged.”

Ahithophel said to Absalom,“ Have relations with your father’s concubines, whom he has left behind to take care of the house; then all Israel will hear that you have made yourself repulsive to your father. The hands of all who are with you will also be strengthened.”

And Ahithophel said to Absalom,“ Go in to your father’s concubines, whom he has left to keep the house; and all Israel will hear that you are abhorred by your father. Then the hands of all who are with you will be strong.”

And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father’s concubines, that he hath left to keep the house; and all Israel will hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then will the hands of all that are with thee be strong.

Ahithophel replied to Absalom,“ Sleep with your father’s concubines he left to take care of the palace. When all Israel hears that you have become repulsive to your father, everyone with you will be encouraged.”

And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father’s concubines, which he hath left to keep the house; and all Israel shall hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then shall the hands of all that[ are] with thee be strong.

Ahithophel replied to Absalom,“ Have sex with your father’s concubines whom he left to care for the palace. All Israel will hear that you have made yourself repulsive to your father. Then your followers will be motivated to support you.”

Ahithophel said to Absalom,“ Go in to your father’s concubines that he has left to keep the house. Then all Israel will hear that you are abhorred by your father. Then the hands of all who are with you will be strong.”

David returned to his palace in Jerusalem. He had left ten concubines there to take care of the palace. He put them in a house and kept them under guard. He gave them what they needed. But he didn’t sleep with them. They were kept under guard until the day they died. They lived as if they were widows.

The king started out. Everyone in his whole family went with him. But he left ten concubines behind to take care of the palace.

“‘ Do not have sex with any other wife of your father. That would bring shame on your father.

Judah and Israel, in the past you have been a curse among the nations. But now I will save you. You will be a blessing to others. Do not be afraid. Let your hands be strong so that you can do my work.”

While Israel was living in that area, Reuben went in and slept with Bilhah. She was the concubine of Reuben’s father. And Israel heard about it. Here are the 12 sons Jacob had.

So all the Israelites heard the news. They were told,“ Saul has attacked the Philistine army camp at Geba. Now the Philistines can’t stand the Israelites.” The Israelites were called out to join Saul at Gilgal.

King Solomon answered his mother,“ Why are you asking me to give Abishag, the Shunammite, to Adonijah? You might as well ask me to give him the whole kingdom! After all, he’s my older brother. And he doesn’t want the kingdom only for himself. He also wants it for Abiathar the priest and for Joab, the son of Zeruiah.”

He didn’t realize that she was his daughter- in- law. He went over to her by the side of the road. He said,“ Come. Let me sleep with you.”“ What will you give me to sleep with you?” she asked.

It is actually reported that there is sexual sin among you. I’m told that a man is sleeping with his father’s wife. Even people who don’t know God don’t let that kind of sin continue.

Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi,“ You have brought trouble on me. Now I’m like a very bad smell to the Canaanites and Perizzites who live in this land. There aren’t many of us. They may join together against me and attack me. Then I and my family will be destroyed.”
