難道神不會為晝夜呼籲他的選民伸冤嗎？難道神會耽誤他們嗎？我告訴你們，他要快快地給他們伸冤。然而人子來的時候，在世上找得到這種信心嗎？”

我曾給她時間，讓她悔改，她卻不肯為她的淫行悔改。

可是，我竟然蒙了憐憫，好讓基督耶穌在我這個罪魁身上，顯明他完全的忍耐，給後來信他得永生的人作榜樣。

他們就是挪亞建造方舟的日子、神容忍等待的時候，那些不順從的人。當時進入方舟、藉著水得救的人不多，只有八個。

如果神有意要顯明他的忿怒，彰顯他的大能，而多多容忍那可怒、預備遭毀滅的器皿，

我使我的公義臨近了，必不遠離；我的救恩必不遲延。我要為以色列，我的榮耀，在錫安施行拯救。”

你若是這樣行，神也這樣吩咐你，你就能站立得住，所有的人民也都能平平安安地歸回自己的地方。”

現在，如果你肯赦免他們的罪，那就好了；如果不肯，求你從你所寫的冊上把我塗抹吧。”
