我又看見一個新天新地，因為先前的天地都過去了，海也再沒有了。

因為你們自己清楚知道，主的日子來到，就像夜間的賊來到一樣。

（看哪，我來像賊一樣！那警醒、看守自己衣服的是有福的！他就不至於赤身行走，讓人看見他的羞恥。）

但現在的天地，還是因著同樣的話可以存留，直到不敬虔的人受審判和遭滅亡的日子，用火焚燒。

你們都知道，家主若曉得竊賊甚麼時候來，就不會讓他摸進屋裡。

你們要仰觀天空，俯視大地；因為諸天必像煙雲消散，大地要像衣服漸漸破舊；其上的居民必像蠓蟲死亡（“必像蠓蟲死亡”或譯：“必要這樣死去”），但我的拯救卻永遠長存，我的公義也不會廢去。

我又看見一個白色的大寶座，和坐在上面的那位。天地都從他面前逃避，再也看不見了。

因此，你們要警醒，因為不知道你們的主甚麼時候要來。你們都知道，家主若曉得竊賊晚上甚麼時候會來，就會提高警覺，不讓他摸進屋裡。

所以，你應當回想你是怎樣領受、怎樣聽見的；應該遵守，也應該悔改。你若不警醒，我就要像賊來到一樣。我甚麼時候來到你那裡，你決不能知道。

大山在他面前震動，小山也都融化；大地在他面前廢去，世界和所有住在世上的，也都這樣。

天地都要毀滅，你卻長存；天地都要像衣服一樣漸漸殘舊；你要更換天地如同更換衣物一樣，天地就被更換。

等候並催促神的日子降臨呢？因為在那日，天要被火焚燒就融化了，所有元素都因烈火而融解！

天上的萬象都必消殘；天也像書卷一般被捲起，所有星宿也必衰殘，像葡萄樹的葉子衰殘一樣，又像無花果樹的葉子凋落一樣。

天地都要過去，但我的話決不會廢去。

萬軍之主耶和華摸地，地就融化，住在地上的都要悲哀。這地必像尼羅河高漲，像埃及的大河退落。

“看哪！在耶和華大而可畏的日子來到以先，我必差派以利亞先知到你們那裡去。

要把這樣的人交給撒但，敗壞他的身體，使他的靈魂在主的日子可以得救。

大地全然破壞，盡都崩裂，大大震動。

“日子快到，這是耶和華的宣告。耕地的必緊接著收割的，踹葡萄的必緊接著撒種的；大山必滴下甜酒，小山必融化。

哀哉那日！因為耶和華的日子臨近了；那日來到，好像毀滅從全能者臨到一樣。

太陽將變為黑暗，月亮將變為血紅。在耶和華偉大可畏的日子臨到以前，這一切都要發生。

無數的人群齊集在判決谷，因為耶和華的日子臨近了判決谷。

因為萬軍之耶和華必有一日，要攻擊一切驕傲的、狂妄的，和所有高抬自己的，他們都要降卑。

你們要在錫安吹號，並在我的聖山發出警訊，讓國中所有的居民都戰慄，因為耶和華的日子快到，必然臨近了。

天地都要毀滅，你卻長存；天地都要像衣服一樣漸漸殘舊，你要把天地像外套一樣捲起來，天地就像衣服一樣被更換；只有你永不改變，你的年數也沒有窮盡。”

正如你們對我們已經有些認識，我盼望你們可以徹底明白：在我們的主耶穌的日子，我們是你們的光榮，你們也是我們的光榮。

還有，那不守本位擅離自己居所的天使，主就用永遠的鎖鍊把他們拘留在黑暗裡，直到那大日子的審判。

在耶和華面前，就是在全地的主面前，群山都像蠟一般融化。

列邦喧嚷，萬國動搖；神一發聲，地就融化。

群山在他腳下融化，眾谷裂開，如蠟在火前一般，像水沖下斜坡一般，

因為被造的萬物服在虛空之下，不是自己願意這樣，而是由於使它屈服的那一位；
