觀此可見天主固知何以脫善人於危難、而將惡人留待審判之日、以受顯罰。

你们遇见的诱惑无非是人们常见的。上帝是信实的，祂绝不会让你们遇见无法抵挡的诱惑，祂必为你们开一条出路，使你们经得住诱惑。

耶和华的眼睛看顾义人，祂的耳朵垂听他们的呼求。耶和华严惩作恶之人，从世上铲除他们。义人向耶和华呼救，祂就垂听，拯救他们脱离一切患难。祂安慰悲痛欲绝的人，拯救心灵破碎的人。义人也会遭遇许多患难，但耶和华必拯救他，

因为你遵守我有关坚忍的教导，所以当将来的试炼临到全人类的时候，我必使你免受磨难。

其实凡立志在基督耶稣里过敬虔生活的人都会受到迫害。

同样，现在的天地要凭上帝的话语存留到不敬虔的人被审判和毁灭的日子，那时天地要被火焚烧。

亚当的第七代子孙以诺曾经针对这些人说预言：“看啊！主率领祂千万的圣者一同降临，要审判所有的人，按不虔不敬的罪人所行的恶事和他们亵渎上帝的话定他们的罪。”

主耶稣为我们牺牲自己，要救赎我们脱离一切罪恶，并洁净我们，使我们做祂的子民，成为热心行善的人。

因为我们所有的人都要出现在基督的审判台前，好按照各人在肉身之时所行的善恶接受赏罚。我们知道主是当受敬畏的，所以劝人归信祂。我们的内心如何，上帝知道，我盼望你们的良心也知道。

耶和华所造的万物各有其用，连恶人也是为灾难之日所造。

即使天使犯了罪，上帝也没有容忍他们，而是把他们丢在地狱里，囚在幽暗的深坑等候审判。

六次遭难，祂都救你；第七次，灾祸也伤不到你。

你这样硬着心不肯悔改等于是为自己积蓄烈怒，上帝的烈怒在祂施行公义审判的那天必临到你。

要知道，耶和华已经把敬虔人分别出来，使之圣洁，归祂自己。祂必垂听我的祈求。

就是恶人在灾难之日得到幸免，在上帝发怒之日得以逃脱。

耶和华啊，求你救我们！因为世上的敬虔人不见了，忠信的人在人间消失了。

因此，趁着还能寻求你的时候，凡敬虔的人都当向你祷告；洪水泛滥时，就没有机会了。
