因为义人罗得住在他们当中，天天耳闻目睹他们一切无法无天的丑行，他正直的心很痛苦。

因為這義人住在他們中間，看見又聽見他們的不法行為，他公義的心天天受到折磨——

蓋此義者居其中、且見且聞、以其不法之行、日傷公義之心、

蓋義者與彼同處、見其敗亂矩矱、無日不憂、

蓋此義人居於彼中、目見耳聞其非法之事、傷其義心、

蓋羅德以正直之身、處於群小之中、所見所聞、莫非橫行無道、中心惄焉如擣、無有寧日也。

( for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)—

That good man lived among them day after day. He saw and heard the evil things they were doing. They were breaking God’s laws. And the godly spirit of Lot was deeply troubled.

Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day.

( for that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their lawless deeds):

( for as he lived among them, that righteous man tormented himself day by day with the lawless deeds he saw and heard)—

( For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed[ his] righteous soul from day to day with[ their] unlawful deeds;)

( for while he lived among them day after day, that righteous man was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)

我厌恶这些背弃你的人，因为他们不遵行你的话。

我泪流成河，因为人们不遵行你的律法。

对他说：“你去走遍耶路撒冷，在那些因城中可憎之事而叹息哀伤的人额上画个记号。”

义人向恶人低头，就像清泉被搅浑，水井受污染。

如今我们称狂傲的人有福，因为作恶的人凡事顺利，他们虽然试探上帝，却仍能逃过灾祸。’”那时，敬畏耶和华的彼此交谈，耶和华必留心倾听，祂面前的纪念册上记录着敬畏祂和尊崇祂名的人。万军之耶和华说：“到我所定的日子，他们必成为我宝贵的产业，我要怜悯他们，如同父亲怜悯他的孝顺儿子。

我看见仇敌漠视你的话语，就心急如焚。

义人得胜，遍地欢腾；恶人当道，人人躲藏。

将男女老幼全部杀尽，但你们不能伤害额上有记号的。你们要从圣所开始。”于是他们首先杀了殿前的众长老。

因为律法并不是为义人设的，而是为了对付那些目无法纪、大逆不道、不敬畏上帝、犯罪作恶、不圣洁、贪恋世俗、谋杀父母、行凶害命、

所以你们要彼此认罪，互相代祷，好得到医治。义人的祷告有极大的力量和功效。
