And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.

Manasseh prayed to him. When he did, the Lord felt sorry for him. He answered his prayer. The Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.

He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!

He prayed to him, and the LORD was receptive to his prayer. He granted his request and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that the LORD is God.

When he prayed to the LORD, the LORD responded to him and answered favorably his cry for mercy. The LORD brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh realized that the LORD is the true God.

戰時民籲上帝、上帝見其恃己、允其所祈、以夏甲人及助戰者付於民手、

故我禁食、求我上帝、蒙其應許。

人將驅逐我主我王、不復與人偕處、乃與獸同居、俾爾嚙蒭、無異於牛、為露所侵、待及七年、使知至上者、操寰區之柄、以國畀人、悉隨其意、

求則爾與、尋則遇之、叩門則啟之、凡求者得也、尋者遇也、叩門者啟也、

告人曰、當息干戈、以我為上帝、天下異邦、咸欽崇我兮。

永生也者、知爾為獨一真上帝、且知耶穌基督、爾所遣者也、

爾餅不食、清酒醇醪不飲、使爾知耶和華乃爾之上帝。

王志所向、耶和華挽其意、如回狂瀾於既倒。

言提其耳、靜謐示之、使人改過、去其驕心、不令其入塚墓、遭白刃、惟使之負痛迫切、偃息在床、遘疾纏綿、害入骨髓。遂厭食物、不飫珍錯、肉消骨立、生命臨墓、近於喪亡、時有使者、才德異眾、以上帝之道明示之、於是主矜憫其人曰、我已贖彼、免其入墓。病者得愈、同於再造、其體壯健、無異少者。祈禱上帝、蒙主悅納、復獲福祉、歡然見主、言於眾前曰、我昔犯罪、蹈於非義、所為無益、主援我、免於死亡、復睹光明。上帝待人若此者屢矣。援之於墓、使享有生之福。

耶穌曰、倘爾識上帝之賜、與請飲者誰、爾求之、其必以活水與爾、

以士喇曰、當頌讚列祖之上帝耶和華、感動王心、修葺耶路撒冷之殿、

我不言己罪、終日欷歔、筋骨漸衰、爾朝夕譴我、精氣漸涸、有如夏日、嘆其乾兮、我自任厥過、不匿己非、禱耶和華、曰、我任罪於爾前、爾則赦宥兮、

先知曰、耶和華離民不遠、將加眷顧、爾當乘時祈求。作惡者流、當改其行、寢其謀、歸誠耶和華我之上帝、蓋彼矜恤為懷、必赦宥之。耶和華曰、我所思所為、與爾比擬、相去奚啻霄壤、我所思所為、高出於爾遠矣。

乃謂耶穌曰、主、歸爾國、其憶我、耶穌曰、我誠告爾、今日爾必同我在樂園矣、○

爾禱告予、當祈求不輟、我必俯聞、倘爾一心求予、則必可得。

我必賦以善心、俾知我乃耶和華、一心歸誠、彼為我選民、我為其上帝。

惟上帝之國與義是求、則此物自加諸爾、

彼不需誨其昆弟鄰里、使識上帝、蓋由尊逮卑、眾必知我、

耶和華彰彰大公、有如此兮、作惡之人、祇自取其戾兮、

糞除爾居、歸全能之主、則可再徼福祉。

其日既屆、我尼布甲尼撒仰觀乎天、心復靈慧、頌美至上永生之主、其國靡暨、永世弗替、斯世之億兆、藐乎其小、有如無物、天下軍旅、地下人民、上帝隨意而作、其取之、孰能禦之、其為之、孰能詰之、

主無不善、恆施赦宥、凡籲爾者、爾加以矜憫兮。

有人焉、耶和華悅其所為、必使仇敵皆與之和。

爾祈禱得蒙垂聽、許願得遂所願、
