集猶大便雅憫眾、以及旅於其中之以法蓮人、瑪拿西人、西緬人、蓋以色列人見上帝耶和華偕亞撒、歸之者甚眾、

以色列族見上帝耶和華眷祐亞撒、以法蓮、馬拿西、西面三族之賓旅、多歸焉。亞撒召之、亦召猶大便雅憫族眾、於十五年三月、俱至耶路撒冷。

招聚猶大便雅憫人眾、及旅其中之以法蓮人、瑪拿西人、西緬人、蓋歸降亞撒之以色列人甚眾、因見主其天主祐之、

Then he assembled all Judah and Benjamin and the people from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who had settled among them, for large numbers had come over to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then Asa gathered together all the people of Judah and Benjamin. He also gathered together the people from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who were living among them. Large numbers of people had come over to him from Israel. They came because they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing with them, for great numbers had deserted to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then Asa called together all the people of Judah and Benjamin, along with the people of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them. For many from Israel had moved to Judah during Asa’s reign when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, as well as those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing among them, for they had defected to him from Israel in great numbers when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who resided with them, for many defected to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who dwelt with them from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon, for they came over to him in great numbers from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and them that sojourned with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that Jehovah his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, as well as those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them, for they had defected to him from Israel in great numbers when they saw that Yahweh his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God[ was] with him.

He assembled all Judah and Benjamin, as well as the settlers from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had come to live with them. Many people from Israel had come there to live when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

He gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who lived with them out of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon; for they came to him out of Israel in abundance when they saw that Yahweh his God was with him.

以色列眾族派中凡立定心意尋求永恆主以色列之上帝的、都隨從利未人，來到耶路撒冷、向永恆主他們列祖的上帝宰獻祭牲。

當時猶太、加利利、撒瑪利亞、全地的教會都得平安，得建立，在敬畏主蒙聖靈的鼓勵中前進，人數日見增加。

大衛從前和非利士人一同去、要攻擊掃羅；有些瑪拿西人來投奔大衛；大衛卻沒有幫助非利士人；因為非利士人的霸主一同商議，把他打發走，說：『他諒必會拿我們的腦袋做代價回去歸降他主上掃羅啊。』

以色列眾人聽見王所決定的判斷，就都敬畏王；因為見王心裏有上帝的智慧能行判斷。

掃羅看出、並且知道永恆主和大衛同在，而且掃羅的女兒米甲也愛大衛，

他主人見永恆主和他同在，見永恆主叫他所作的在他手裏盡都順利，

猶大全體大眾、祭司和利未人、從以色列來的全體大眾、以及從以色列地來的寄居者、或是住在猶大的寄居者：大家都歡喜快樂。

希西家差遣了人去見以色列和猶大眾人，並且寫了詔書給以法蓮和瑪拿西人，叫他們到耶路撒冷永恆主的殿，向永恆主以色列的上帝守逾越節。因為王和他的大臣跟那在耶路撒冷的全體大眾已經商議好了、要在二月裏守逾越節。正月間他們不能守，因為潔淨自己為聖的祭司還不夠用，人民也沒有聚集在耶路撒冷。王和全體大眾都以這樣為對。於是立下了命令，將布告傳達在全以色列，從別是巴直到但，叫人民都來、在耶路撒冷向永恆主以色列的上帝守逾越節，因為人民遵照所記載的例來守這節的並不多。跑文書的帶着王和他的大臣手發的詔書就去、走遍以色列和猶大，並且遵照王所吩咐的說：『以色列人哪，你們要轉向永恆主、亞伯拉罕以撒以色列的上帝，好叫他轉向你們這逃脫亞述王掌握的餘民。你們不要像你們列祖和你們的族弟兄：他們對永恆主他們列祖的上帝不忠實，以致永恆主使他們成了令人驚駭的對象，正如你們自己所見過的。現在你們不要硬着脖子、像你們列祖那樣；你們只要舉手起誓歸順永恆主，進入他的聖所、他永遠分別為聖的地方，來事奉永恆主你們的上帝，好使他的烈怒轉離你們。因為你們若轉向永恆主，你們的族弟兄和兒女就必在擄了他們的人面前蒙憐憫，得以返回這地。因為永恆主你們的上帝有恩惠，有憐憫；你們若轉向他，他必不轉臉不顧你們。』跑文書的一城過一城地走遍了以法蓮和瑪拿西之地，直到西布倫；這些地方的人卻調弄他們，嗤笑他們。然而亞設、瑪拿西、西布倫中也有人自己謙卑、來到耶路撒冷。

這一城的居民必去見另一城的居民說：「我們總要趕快去求永恆主的情面，去尋求萬軍之永恆主哦！讓我去吧！也讓我吧！」必有許多外族之民和強盛之國要前來，在耶路撒冷尋求萬軍之永恆主，求永恆主的情面。萬軍之永恆主這麼說：當那些日子列國說各樣語言的人之中十個人必拉住一個猶大人的衣邊、說：「讓我們和你們一同去吧！因為我們聽說上帝與你們同在。」』

這樣，以色列人就背叛了大衛家、直到今日。

『族長妒忌約瑟，給賣到埃及；上帝卻與他同在，救拔他脫離他一切的苦難，賜給他在埃及王法老面前受優待又有智慧。法老設立他做宰相管理埃及和法老全家。
