When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage. He removed the detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the towns he had captured in the hills of Ephraim. He repaired the altar of the Lord that was in front of the portico of the Lord’s temple.

Asa heard that prophecy. He paid attention to the words of Azariah the prophet, the son of Oded. So Asa became bolder than ever. He removed the statues of gods from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin. He also removed them from the towns he had captured in the hills of Ephraim. He did it because the Lord hated those gods. Asa repaired the altar of the Lord. It was in front of the porch of the Lord’ s temple.

As soon as Asa heard these words, the prophecy of Azariah the son of Oded, he took courage and put away the detestable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities that he had taken in the hill country of Ephraim, and he repaired the altar of the Lord that was in front of the vestibule of the house of the Lord.

When Asa heard this message from Azariah the prophet, he took courage and removed all the detestable idols from the land of Judah and Benjamin and in the towns he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. And he repaired the altar of the Lord, which stood in front of the entry room of the Lord’s Temple.

When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage and removed the abhorrent idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. He renovated the altar of the LORD that was in front of the portico of the LORD’s temple.

Now when Asa heard these words and the prophecy which Azariah the son of Oded the prophet spoke, he took courage and removed the abominable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and from the cities which he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. He then restored the altar of the Lord which was in front of the porch of the Lord.

And when Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and removed the abominable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities which he had taken in the mountains of Ephraim; and he restored the altar of the Lord that was before the vestibule of the Lord.

And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominations out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from the hill- country of Ephraim; and he renewed the altar of Jehovah, that was before the porch of Jehovah.

He removed the detestable idols from the entire land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities he had seized in the Ephraimite hill country. He repaired the altar of the LORD in front of the porch of the LORD’s temple.

When Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominations out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from the hill country of Ephraim; and he renewed Yahweh’s altar that was before Yahweh’s porch.

他又造了一座銅祭壇，長二十肘，寬二十肘，高十肘。

因為所羅門隨從西頓人的女神亞斯他錄、和亞捫人可憎的神米勒公。

在過去的時光，你們作出外國人所執意作的，行於邪蕩、私慾、沉醉、荒宴、狂飲、和違例可憎之偶像崇拜、已經夠了。

於是他們進到裏面去見希西家王說：我們已把永恆主之殿的全部：燻祭壇和壇的一切器皿、神前餅陳設的桌子和桌子的一切器皿、都清理潔淨了。

在墳墓間呆着，在祕密處過夜，喫着豬肉，他們器皿中有「不新鮮」之物作的湯；

弟兄們聽見了我們的事，就出來，直走到亞比烏市場和三旅館、來迎接我們。保羅看見他們，就感謝上帝，越發壯膽。

我必倍加報應他們的罪孽和罪惡，因為他們用他們可憎之像的屍體沾污了我的地，用他們可厭惡的偶像充滿了我的產業。』

他又將永恆主面前的銅祭壇、從殿的前面、從新壇與永恆主的殿之間、搬去放在新壇北邊。

『「造永恆主所厭惡、匠人的手所作的雕像或鑄像，暗中立着的、那人必受咒詛」；眾民都要答應說：「阿們。」

他自己砍伐香柏樹，又是選取冬青檞或橡樹，讓它在樹林中茁壯起來，或是栽種樅樹，讓雨水使它長大。

你們若對我說：『我們是倚靠耶和華我們的上帝的』，那麼這耶和華豈不是那一位、希西家曾將他的邱壇和祭壇廢去，並且對猶大和耶路撒冷的人說：「你們要在耶路撒冷這祭壇前敬拜」的麼？

那時所羅門為摩押可憎的神基抹和亞捫人可憎的神摩洛在耶路撒冷東面的山上築了一座邱壇。

那婦人披着紫袍和朱紅袍，用金子寶石珍珠為妝飾，手中執有金杯、滿盛着可憎之物、就是她淫亂之污穢。她的額上寫着名字、有象徵的奧祕：「大巴比倫、地上淫婦之母、可憎之物之母！」

我進去一看，只見四圍牆上盡畫着各模各樣的爬物、和可憎厭的走獸、跟以色列家的各樣偶像。

看哪，凡屬永恆主的事、有祭司長亞瑪利雅管理你們；凡屬王的事、有猶大家首領以實瑪利的兒子西巴第雅管理你們；在你們面前則有利未人做官吏。你們要剛強辦事；願永恆主和善人同在。』

從前以色列王所羅門在耶路撒冷東面毁滅山南邊、為西頓人可憎的神亞斯他錄、摩押人可憎的神基抹、亞捫人可厭惡的神米勒公、所建築的邱壇、王都使那些邱壇成了凡俗。

所以你們要守我所吩咐守的，免得你們實行這些可厭惡的規例、就是你們以前的人所作的、因而蒙了不潔；我永恆主是你們的上帝。』
