and Solomon and the whole assembly went to the high place at Gibeon, for God’s tent of meeting was there, which Moses the Lord’s servant had made in the wilderness.

Solomon and the whole community went to the high place at Gibeon. That’s because God’s tent of meeting was there. The Lord’ s servant Moses had made the tent in the desert.

And Solomon, and all the assembly with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon, for the tent of meeting of God, which Moses the servant of the Lord had made in the wilderness, was there.

Then he led the entire assembly to the place of worship in Gibeon, for God’s Tabernacle was located there.( This was the Tabernacle that Moses, the Lord’s servant, had made in the wilderness.)

如是耶和華之僕摩西、沒於摩押、踐耶和華之言、

耶和華在會幕、召摩西曰、

有雲覆會幕、耶和華之榮光盈其室、

宜用紫赤絳三色之縷、與編棉作幕幔十、上采織𠼻𡀔［口氷］。幔長二丈八尺、廣四尺、諸幔長短維一。幔相連各五。幔之聯絡處、用紫縷作紐、次幔亦然。幔上聯絡之處、作五十紐、紐相銜接、次幔亦然。作金鈎五十、鈎連諸幔、以成一幕。○以羊毛作十一幔、以蓋幕。幔長三丈、廣四尺、諸幔長短維一、五幔相聯、六幔亦相聯、其六幔宜重複於幕前。幔之聯絡處、宜作五十紐、次幔亦然。作銅鈎五十、鈎紐聯為一幕。餘幔之半、必垂幕後。幕幔之餘、每旁一尺、垂幕兩旁、以蓋之。用牡羊皮之紅者為幕幬、施貂皮於其上。○以皂莢木作板、立於幕側。各長一丈、廣尺有半。下各二榫相對。幕之眾板、其式相同、幕旁之南、作二十板。下造銀座四十、板下各有二座、適與二榫相對。幕旁之北二十板。其下銀座四十、板下各有二座。幕旁之西六板。幕隅有二板。幕隅二板、一環連其上下。厥板凡八、銀座十六、板下各有二座。以皂莢木作楗、兩旁幕板、各五楗、西旁幕板五楗。板中橫楗、由此達彼。板飾以金、作環貫楗、亦以金飾。我於山示汝當建之幕、必遵其式。○用紫赤絳三色之縷、與編棉為簾、上采織𠼻𡀔［口氷］。用皂莢木作柱四、飾以金、簾垂其間、金鈎銀座、既垂其簾、運法匱入、簾隔至聖之室、與聖室相間。施恩之所置於至聖室、法匱上。簾外幕北設几案、幕南置燈臺、遙與相對。用紫赤絳三色之縷、與編棉繡幬為幕門、用皂莢木作柱五、以金飾之、金鈎銅座、以垂其幬。

正月朔、宜建會幕、

於是諸智者製會幕、用紫赤絳三色之縷、與編棉、作幕幔十、上采織𠼻𡀔［口氷］、

基遍有崇邱、更播聲聞、王往彼獻牲畜一千、以為燔祭。至夕、耶和華夢中顯現於所羅門曰、爾有所求、我無弗予。所羅門曰、昔我父大闢、真實無妄、行善為義於爾前、爾施厚恩、使子繼其位、今日之事為證。我之上帝耶和華以臣僕為王、代父大闢、我尚幼沖、不知治民、爾所簡之民甚眾、不可勝數、爾之臣僕居於其中、孰能聽訟於斯眾之間乎、故祈爾使僕聰慧、可辨是非、為民折中。耶和華聞所羅門所祈、而悅其言、謂之曰、爾不求遐齡、巨富、勝敵、乃求聰慧、可以聽訟、我則許爾所求、以智慧之心錫汝、爾之前未有若是、爾之後亦不能若是。爾所未求者、我亦賜爾、即貨財尊榮、爾之畢生、列王之中、無可比儗。如爾行由我道、守我禁令禮儀、循爾父之所為、我亦將錫爾遐齡。所羅門既寤、知涉於夢寐、遂至耶路撒冷、立耶和華法匱前、獻燔祭酬恩祭、賜宴與僕從、
