蓋爾之新生、非萌自可朽之種子、乃藉永生天主之聖道、而萌於不朽之種子也。

For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

You have been born again by means of the living word of God. His word lasts forever. You were not born again from a seed that will die. You were born from a seed that can’t die.

我們主耶穌基督的父神是應當稱頌的。他照著自己的大憐憫，藉著耶穌基督從死人中復活，重生了我們，使我們有永活的盼望，

因為神的道是活的，是有效的，比一切兩刃的劍更鋒利，甚至可以刺入剖開魂與靈，關節與骨髓，並且能夠辨明心中的思想和意念。

這必朽壞的必須穿上不朽壞的，這必死的必須穿上不死的；這必朽壞的既穿上了不朽壞的，這必死的既穿上了不死的，那時，經上的話就應驗了：“勝利了！死亡已經被吞滅。

他們不是從血統生的，不是從肉身的意思生的，也不是從人意生的，而是從神生的。

耶穌回答：“我實實在在告訴你，人若不重生，就不能見神的國。”

耶穌回答：“我實實在在告訴你，人若不是從水和聖靈生的，就不能進神的國。

使人活的是靈，肉體是無濟於事的。我對你們所說的話是靈、是生命。

唯有主的道，永遠長存。”所傳給你們的福音就是這道。

我們知道凡從神生的就不犯罪，而且從神生的那一位也必保守他，連那惡者也不能碰他。

天地都要過去，但我的話決不會廢去。

他憑著自己的旨意，藉著真理的道生了我們，使我們作他所造的萬物中初熟的果子。

萬有是藉著他造的；凡被造的，沒有一樣不是藉著他造的。

他們用必朽壞的人、飛禽、走獸和昆蟲的形象，取代了永不朽壞的神的榮耀。

作了夢的先知，讓他把夢述說出來；但得了我話語的先知，該忠實地傳講我的話。禾稈怎能和麥子相比呢？”這是耶和華的宣告。

我要斥責你們的子孫，也要把糞塗抹在你們的臉上，就是節期祭牲的糞；人要把你們抬到糞堆去。”
