如人與同儕有所干犯、使至此殿、發誓於壇前、

“ When someone is accused of sinning against his neighbor and the latter pronounces a curse on the alleged offender before your altar in this temple, be willing to forgive the accused if the accusation is false.

若找不到贼，这家的主人就要到审判官那里，声明自己没有伸手拿邻舍的物件。“关于任何侵害的案件，无论是为牛、驴、羊、衣服，或任何失物，有一人说：‘这是我的’，双方就要将案件带到审判官面前，审判官定谁有罪，谁就要加倍赔偿给他的邻舍。“人将驴、牛、羊，或别的牲畜托邻舍看管，若牲畜死亡，受了伤，或被抢走，无人看见，双方要在耶和华前起誓，受托人要表明自己没有伸手拿邻舍的东西，原主要接受誓言，受托人不必赔偿。

免得我饱足了，就不认你，说：“耶和华是谁呢？”又恐怕我贫穷就偷窃，以致亵渎我上帝的名。

“祭司要使那妇人近前来，站在耶和华面前。祭司要把圣水盛在瓦器里，从帐幕的地上取些尘土，放在水中。祭司要带那妇人站在耶和华面前，使她蓬头散发，再把纪念的素祭，就是疑忌的素祭，放在她的手掌，祭司手里捧着致诅咒的苦水。祭司要叫妇人起誓，对她说：‘若没有人与你同寝，若你未曾背着丈夫做污秽的事，你就能免去这致诅咒的苦水。但你背着丈夫，玷污自己，跟丈夫以外的人同寝。’祭司叫妇人赌咒起誓，祭司对她说：‘当耶和华使你大腿萎缩，肚腹肿胀时，愿耶和华使你在你百姓中成为诅咒和咒骂；愿这致诅咒的水进入你体内，使你肚腹肿胀，大腿萎缩。’妇人要说：‘阿们，阿们。’

“若有人犯了罪，就是听见了誓言，他本来可以作证，却不把所看见、所知道的说出来，必须担当他的罪孽。

“人若得罪邻舍，有人强迫他，要他起誓，他来到这殿，在你的坛前起誓，求你从天上垂听、处理，向你的仆人施行审判，定恶人有罪，照他所行的报应在他头上；定义人为义，照他的义赏赐他。
