Now Ben-Hadad king of Aram mustered his entire army. Accompanied by thirty-two kings with their horses and chariots, he went up and besieged Samaria and attacked it.

Ben- Hadad brought his whole army together. He was king of Aram. He went up to Samaria. He took 32 kings and their horses and chariots with him. All of them surrounded Samaria and attacked it.

我使鋒刃臨爾、以報背約之仇、爾集於邑垣、我則降疫癘於其中、付爾於敵、

侵其全地、往撒瑪利亞、圍之三年、何細亞九年、亞述王取撒瑪利亞、徙以色列人至亞述、置於哈臘與歌散之哈博河濱、及瑪代諸邑、

爾上帝耶和華所賜爾之全地、其中諸邑、城垣高固、爾所恃也、敵必困爾於中、迨其傾圮、

諸王之王亞達薛西、告祭司以斯拉、明天上上帝律之文士、完人等稱、

我必燃火於大馬色城垣、焚便哈達宮室、○

主耶和華曰、我將使諸王之王、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、來自北方、率其車馬騎兵、軍旅民眾、以攻推羅、

厥後、亞蘭王便哈達集其全軍而上、圍撒瑪利亞、撒瑪利亞饑甚、被困、至一驢之首、售銀八十舍客勒、鴿糞二升、售銀五舍客勒、以色列王經行城垣、有婦呼曰、我主我王歟、其助我、曰、如耶和華不助爾、我何由助爾、由禾場或酒醡乎、又曰、爾有何事、婦曰、此婦謂我曰、取爾子、我儕今日食之、明日則食我子、於是烹我子而食之、次日我曰、取爾子、我儕食之、彼匿其子、

我必使火入於哈薛家、燬便哈達之宮室、

爾藉臣僕侮主、曰我率眾車陟於山巔、至利巴嫩之深處、伐其香柏之高者、松木之美者、將入其境之極處、即腴壤之森林、

可如是而行、去厥列王、以軍長代之、

曰、我之牧伯、非皆為王乎、

日中而出、便哈達與助之之三十二王、在幕飲醉、

王歟、爾為諸王之王、天上上帝以國以權、以能以榮賜爾、
