For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the Lord sends rain and the crops grow again!”

因为耶和华以色列的神如此说：坛内的面必不减少，瓶里的油必不缺短，直到耶和华使雨降在地上的日子。”

因为耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：‘坛内的面必不用尽，瓶里的油必不短缺，直到耶和华使雨降在地上的日子。’”

蓋以色列之上帝耶和華曰、罌內之麵不減、瓶中之油不罄、迨耶和華降雨於地、

以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、器內之粉不減、瓶內之油不罄、迨及我降雨於斯土則止。

主以色列之天主如是云、器內之麵必不減、瓶內之油必不罄、直至我降雨於地之日、

For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:‘ The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’”

The Lord is the God of Israel. He says,‘ The jar of flour will not be used up. The jug will always have oil in it. You will have flour and oil until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’ ”

For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel,‘ The jar of flour shall not be spent, and the jug of oil shall not be empty, until the day that the Lord sends rain upon the earth.’”

for this is what the LORD God of Israel says,‘ The flour jar will not become empty and the oil jug will not run dry until the day the LORD sends rain on the surface of the land.’”

For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ The bowl of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil become empty, until the day that the Lord provides rain on the face of the earth.’ ”

For thus says the Lord God of Israel:‘ The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.’”

For thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, The jar of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that Jehovah sendeth rain upon the earth.

for this is what the Lord God of Israel says,‘ The flour jar will not become empty and the oil jug will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the surface of the land.”

For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day[ that] the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

For this is what the LORD God of Israel says,‘ The jar of flour will not be empty and the jug of oil will not run out until the day the LORD makes it rain on the surface of the ground.’”

For Yahweh, the God of Israel says,‘ The jar of meal will not run out, and the jar of oil will not fail, until the day that Yahweh sends rain on the earth.’”

“ What can I do to help you?” Elisha asked.“ Tell me, what do you have in the house?”“ Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,” she replied.And Elisha said,“ Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors.Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.”So she did as she was told. Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another.Soon every container was full to the brim!“ Bring me another jar,” she said to one of her sons.“ There aren’t any more!” he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing.When she told the man of God what had happened, he said to her,“ Now sell the olive oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on what is left over.”

and he said,“ This is what the Lord says: This dry valley will be filled with pools of water!

Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, thanked God for them, and broke them into pieces. He gave them to the disciples, who distributed the food to the crowd.They all ate as much as they wanted. Afterward, the disciples picked up seven large baskets of leftover food.There were 4,000 men who were fed that day, in addition to all the women and children.

One day a man from Baal shalishah brought the man of God a sack of fresh grain and twenty loaves of barley bread made from the first grain of his harvest. Elisha said,“ Give it to the people so they can eat.”“ What?” his servant exclaimed.“ Feed a hundred people with only this?” But Elisha repeated,“ Give it to the people so they can eat, for this is what the Lord says: Everyone will eat, and there will even be some left over!”And when they gave it to the people, there was plenty for all and some left over, just as the Lord had promised.

Drink from the brook and eat what the ravens bring you, for I have commanded them to bring you food.”

So Jehu left the others and went into the house. Then the young prophet poured the oil over Jehu’s head and said,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I anoint you king over the Lord’s people, Israel.

“ But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish!” they answered.“ Bring them here,” he said.Then he told the people to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he gave the bread to the disciples, who distributed it to the people.They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftovers.

Elisha replied,“ Listen to this message from the Lord! This is what the Lord says: By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, six quarts of choice flour will cost only one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain will cost only one piece of silver.”
