But Elijah said to her,“ Don’t be afraid! Go ahead and do just what you’ve said, but make a little bread for me first. Then use what’s left to prepare a meal for yourself and your son.

Elijah said to her,“ Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son.

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you,‘ Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Jesus told him,“ If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he had many possessions.

But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!”

When Gideon took his warriors down to the water, the Lord told him,“ Divide the men into two groups. In one group put all those who cup water in their hands and lap it up with their tongues like dogs. In the other group put all those who kneel down and drink with their mouths in the stream.”Only 300 of the men drank from their hands. All the others got down on their knees and drank with their mouths in the stream.The Lord told Gideon,“ With these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home.”

It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when God was testing him. Abraham, who had received God’s promises, was ready to sacrifice his only son, Isaac,

“ Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him.“ For there are more on our side than on theirs!”

But Moses told the people,“ Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again.

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold— though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

Some time later, God tested Abraham’s faith.“ Abraham!” God called.“ Yes,” he replied.“ Here I am.”“ Take your son, your only son— yes, Isaac, whom you love so much— and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you.”

Then the angel spoke to the women.“ Don’t be afraid!” he said.“ I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

and he said,‘ Don’t be afraid, Paul, for you will surely stand trial before Caesar! What’s more, God in his goodness has granted safety to everyone sailing with you.’

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,“ I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!
