If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that.

耶和华说：“耶利米啊，不要为这些百姓祷告，不要替他们哀求，不要为他们向我祈求，因为我必不听。

“因此，耶利米啊，你不要为这些人祈祷，不要为他们呼求祷告，因为他们遭难时向我呼求，我必不理会他们。

生病的人应该请教会的长老来，奉主的名用油抹他的身体并为他祷告。出于信心的祷告必能使病人痊愈，主必使他康复。倘若他犯了罪，也必得到赦免。

耶和华对我说：“你不要为这百姓祷告。

他们说：“来！我们设计对付耶利米吧，反正我们有祭司教导律法，有智者出谋划策，有先知传讲预言。来吧！我们抨击他，不要理会他的话。”耶和华啊，求你眷顾我，听听敌人对我的指控。人岂能以恶报善？他们竟设陷阱谋害我，求你回想我怎样站在你面前为他们求情，怎样求你不要向他们发烈怒。因此，愿他们丧身刀下，儿女饿死，妻子丧夫亡子，年长的被杀，年少的死于战场！

耶和华对我说：“就算摩西和撒母耳站在我面前求情，我也不会怜悯这些百姓。你把他们从我面前赶走吧！如果他们问你，‘我们该去哪里，’你就告诉他们，耶和华这样说，“‘该死的死，该被杀的被杀，该遭饥荒的遭饥荒，该被掳的被掳。’

我想在他们中间寻找一位重修城墙的人，站在我面前为这地方堵住缺口，免得我毁灭这里。可是，我一个也找不到。

耶和华对摩西说：“这些人藐视我要到何时呢？我在他们中间行了这么多神迹，他们仍然不相信我。我要用瘟疫毁灭他们，不让他们承受那片土地。但我要使你成为大国，比他们更强盛。”摩西对耶和华说：“你曾经用大能把以色列人从埃及领出来，埃及人听说这事后，一定会告诉迦南的居民。那里的居民早已听说你耶和华与以色列人同在，你面对面向他们显现，你的云彩停留在他们上面，你白天用云柱、黑夜用火柱引导他们。如果你把他们全部消灭，那些听过你威名的列国就会议论说，‘耶和华无法把以色列人领到祂起誓要赐给他们的地方，所以在旷野把他们杀了。’因此，求主彰显伟大的权能，正如你所宣告的，‘耶和华不轻易发怒，充满慈爱；祂赦免罪恶和过犯，但决不免除罪责，必向子孙追讨父辈的罪债，直到三四代。’从他们离开埃及直到现在，你一直在饶恕他们，求你以伟大的慈爱再次赦免这些人的罪。”耶和华说：“我听你的祈求，赦免他们。但我凭我的永恒起誓，正如大地充满我的荣耀一样确实，

因此祂说要消灭他们。若不是祂所拣选的摩西为他们求情，祂早已在烈怒中毁灭了他们。

于是，摩西呼求耶和华：“上帝啊，求你医治她！”
