孩子们，我曾写信给你们，因为你们认识了父。父老们，我曾写信给你们，因为你们认识了从太初就存在的那位。年轻人，我曾写信给你们，因为你们刚强，上帝的道常存在你们心里，并且你们战胜了那恶者。

我父将一切交给了我。除了父，没有人认识子；除了子和受子启示的人，没有人认识父。”

孩子们，你们属于上帝，你们已经胜过了那些假先知，因为在你们里面的圣灵比在世上运行的邪灵更有能力。

我们知道从上帝生的不会继续犯罪，因为上帝的儿子保护他，那恶者无法害他。

我父将一切交给了我。除了父，没有人认识子；除了子和受子启示的人，没有人认识父。

他们这样做，是因为他们根本不认识父，也不认识我。

耶和华说：“因为他爱我，我必拯救他；因为他信靠我的名，我必保护他。

我们若遵行上帝的命令，就知道自己认识祂。若有人说“我认识祂”，却不遵行祂的命令，这人是说谎的，他心中没有真理。

力量是青年的荣耀，白发是老人的尊荣。

我的孩子们，我写这些话给你们是为了叫你们不要犯罪。如果有人犯了罪，在父那里我们有一位护慰者，就是那位义者——耶稣基督。

少男、少女、老人和孩童啊，你们要赞美耶和华！

使他们都合而为一，正如父你在我里面，我在你里面一样，并且使他们也在我们里面，好让世人相信是你差我来的。

他们问：“你的父在哪里？”耶稣回答说：“你们不认识我，也不认识我的父。如果你们认识我，也会认识我的父。”

种子落在路旁，是指人听了天国的道理却不明白，魔鬼乘虚而入，把撒在他心里的夺走了；

耶稣说：“如果我为自己争取荣耀，那荣耀算不了什么。但使我得荣耀的是我的父，你们也称祂为你们的上帝。你们不认识祂，我却认识祂。如果我说我不认识祂，那我就像你们一样是说谎的。然而，我认识祂，并且遵行祂的道。
