論到從太初就已經存在的生命之道，我們曾經耳聞目睹，親眼看過，親手摸過。

有关生命之道，是从太初就有的，是我们所听到、所亲眼看到、所观察过、又亲手摸过的——

論到從起初原有的生命之道，就是我們所聽見、所看見、親眼看過、親手摸過的。（

論到生命之道、那從起初就有的、我們曾聽見、曾親眼看見、曾觀看而親手摸過的道：

有關生命之道，是從太初就有的，是我們所聽到、所親眼看到、所觀察過、又親手摸過的——

維生之道、太初而有、我儕所聞所見、所瞻視而手捫者、

元始生命之道、余耳聞之、目擊之、手捫之、

太初所有生命之道、道或作言下同我儕所聞、親目所睹、我儕所觀、親手所捫者、

吾人所言者、乃元始生命之道、而亦吾人所曾耳濡目染、躬自瞻仰、親受撫摩者也。

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched— this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.

Here is what we announce to everyone about the Word of life. The Word was already here from the beginning. We have heard him. We have seen him with our eyes. We have looked at him. Our hands have touched him.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life.

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have observed and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life—

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—

That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we beheld, and our hands handled, concerning the Word of life

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have observed and have touched with our hands, concerning the Word of life—

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

This is what we proclaim to you: what was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and our hands have touched( concerning the word of life–

然後對多馬說：「把你的指頭放在我手上摸摸看，伸出手來摸摸我的肋旁。不要懷疑，要信！」

我們看見過，現在做見證：天父差遣了祂的兒子成為世人的救主。

你們看我的手和腳，就知道真的是我。來摸摸看，鬼魂沒有骨和肉，你們看！我有。」

我們從前告訴你們有關主耶穌基督的大能和祂降臨的事，並非根據巧妙虛構的神話，而是我們親眼見過祂的威榮。祂從父上帝那裡得到了尊貴和榮耀，那時從極大的榮光中有聲音對祂說：「這是我的愛子，我甚喜悅祂。」當時我們和祂一同在聖山上，親耳聽見了這來自天上的聲音。

我一看見祂，便仆倒在祂腳前，像死了一樣。祂把右手按在我身上，說：「不要害怕！我是首先的，我是末後的，我是永活者。我曾經死過，但看啊，我永永遠遠活著。我掌握死亡和陰間的鑰匙。

「你要寫信告訴士每拿教會的天使，那位首先的、末後的、死而復活的主說，

祂受難後用許多確鑿的證據證實自己活著，在四十天之內屢次向使徒顯現，與他們談論上帝的國。

祂穿著被鮮血浸透的衣服，祂的名字是「上帝的道」。

這樣，做見證的共有三樣：

以法他的伯利恆啊，你在猶大各城中毫不起眼，但將有一位從你那裡出來，為我統治以色列；祂的根源自亙古，來自太初。

父老們，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識了從太初就存在的那位。年輕人，我寫信給你們，因為你們已經戰勝了那惡者。孩子們，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們認識了天父。父老們，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們認識了從太初就存在的那位。年輕人，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們剛強，上帝的道常存在你們心裡，並且你們戰勝了那惡者。

誰成就了這事？誰在太初就掌管歷史的方向？是我耶和華，我太初就在那裡，末了也在那裡。

「在耶和華造物的起頭，在太初萬物被造以前，就已經有我。從亙古，從太初，大地還沒有形成以前，我已經被立。沒有深淵，沒有湧流的水泉以前，我已經誕生。大山未曾奠定，小丘未曾形成，我已經出生。那時耶和華還沒有造大地和原野，還沒有造一粒塵土。祂鋪設諸天的時候，我已在場。祂在深淵上畫出地平線，上使穹蒼堅固，下使深淵的泉源安穩，設定滄海的界限，使海水不得越過祂定的範圍，為大地奠定根基的時候，我就在祂身旁，做祂的工程師，天天成為祂的喜樂，終日在祂面前歡悅，因祂所造的人世而歡悅，因祂所造的世人而喜樂。

「把你所看見的寫在書上，然後送給以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非和老底嘉七間教會。」

看見這事的人為此做見證，他的見證是真實的，他知道自己所說的是事實，好讓你們可以相信。
