What, then, is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may offer the gospel without charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

既是这样，我的赏赐是什么呢？就是我传福音的时候叫人不花钱得福音，免得用尽我传福音的权柄。

那麼，我的報償到底是什麼呢？就是：我傳福音的時候，能免費地提供福音，好使我不會充分利用在福音工作上屬自己的權利。

然則我之賞維何、即宣福音、使人不費而得之、免我盡用福音之權也、

我自詡何歟、即傳基督福音、未嘗傷人之財、雖有權、而我不妄用其權、

然則我之賞何歟、即我傳基督之福音、使人無所費而得、不妄用我在福音所有之權、

然則吾果無報酬乎？曰：正惟吾傳福音而不受酬、而不享受權利、酬在其中矣。

What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make full use of my rights as a preacher of the gospel.

Then what reward do I get? Here is what it is. I am able to preach the good news free of charge. And I can do this without using all my rights as a person who preaches the good news.

What then is my reward? That in my preaching I may present the gospel free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

What then is my pay? It is the opportunity to preach the Good News without charging anyone. That’s why I never demand my rights when I preach the Good News.

What then is my reward? To preach the gospel and offer it free of charge and not make full use of my rights in the gospel.

What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel.

What then is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel without charge, so as not to use to the full my right in the gospel.

What then is my reward? To preach the gospel and offer it free of charge and not make full use of my authority in the gospel.

What is my reward then?[ Verily] that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

What then is my reward? That when I preach the gospel I may offer the gospel free of charge, and so not make full use of my rights in the gospel.

What then is my reward? That when I preach the Good News, I may present the Good News of Christ without charge, so as not to abuse my authority in the Good News.

For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond servants on account of Jesus.

Or do only Barnabas and I have no right to refrain from working?Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not consume some of the milk of the flock?

But take care that this freedom of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.

nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you;not because we do not have the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves as a role model for you, so that you would follow our example.

just as I also please everyone in all things, not seeking my own benefit but the benefit of the many, so that they may be saved.

and those who use the world, as though they did not make full use of it; for the present form of this world is passing away.

nor did we seek honor from people, either from you or from others, though we could have asserted our authority as apostles of Christ.

Or did I commit a sin by humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you without charge?I robbed other churches by taking wages from them to serve you;and when I was present with you and was in need, I was not a burden to anyone; for when the brothers came from Macedonia they fully supplied my need, and in everything I kept myself from being a burden to you, and will continue to do so.

For in what respect were you treated as inferior to the rest of the churches, except that I myself did not become a burden to you? Forgive me this wrong!Here for this third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I do not seek what is yours, but you; for children are not responsible to save up for their parents, but parents for their children.I will most gladly spend and be expended for your souls. If I love you more, am I to be loved less?But be that as it may, I did not burden you myself; nevertheless, devious person that I am, I took you in by deceit.Certainly I have not taken advantage of you through any of those whom I have sent to you, have I?I urged Titus to go, and I sent the brother with him. Titus did not take any advantage of you, did he? Did we not conduct ourselves in the same spirit and walk in the same steps?

For if because of food your brother or sister is hurt, you are no longer walking in accordance with love. Do not destroy with your choice of food that person for whom Christ died.
