爾若娶、非犯罪、童女若嫁、亦非犯罪、但如此之人、身必受難、但我不忍使爾憂愁、

我儕不類多人為利混天主之道、乃由誠意奉天主之命、於天主前遵基督而言也、

其已嫁娶者、我命、原非我也、乃主命之、曰、婦不可離夫、

若有人思不嫁女、即為待之不合宜、女年已及當嫁之時、事出於不得已、則隨意而行、嫁之無罪、倘人堅心、無不得已之事、且得行其志、定意留女不嫁、如是而行為美、如是、嫁女為美、不嫁女更美、

然我今日得為何如人、乃由天主之恩也、其恩非徒然賜我、我勤勞過諸使徒、此非我所能、天主之恩助我也、

婦與童女有別、無夫者慮主之事、欲其身與神皆成聖、有夫者慮世之事、如何悅夫、
