在耶和華前、式飲式食、欣喜懽忭、以大闢子所羅門再立為王、奉耶和華命、沐之以膏、俾作民主、以撒督為祭司長、

眾於是日、皆大喜樂、式食式飲於主前、以大衛子所羅門再立為王、膏之於主前為君、又膏撒督為大祭司、

They ate and drank with great joy in the presence of the Lord that day. Then they acknowledged Solomon son of David as king a second time, anointing him before the Lord to be ruler and Zadok to be priest.

They ate and drank with great joy that day. They did it in front of the Lord. Then they announced a second time that Solomon was king. He was the son of David. They anointed Solomon in front of the Lord. They anointed him to be ruler. They also anointed Zadok to be priest.

And they ate and drank before the Lord on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and they anointed him as prince for the Lord, and Zadok as priest.

They feasted and drank in the Lord’s presence with great joy that day. And again they crowned David’s son Solomon as their new king. They anointed him before the Lord as their leader, and they anointed Zadok as priest.

They ate and drank with great joy in the LORD’s presence that day. Then, for a second time, they made David’s son Solomon king; they anointed him as the LORD’s ruler, and Zadok as the priest.

So they ate and drank that day before the Lord with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king a second time, and they anointed him as ruler for the Lord and Zadok as priest.

They held a feast before the LORD that day and celebrated. Then they designated Solomon, David’s son, as king a second time; before the LORD they anointed him as ruler and Zadok as priest.

大衛年紀老邁，歲數滿足，就立他兒子所羅門來管理以色列。

王就立了耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅統領着軍隊來代替約押；王也使祭司撒督代替亞比亞他。

在那裏、祭司撒督和神言人拿單要膏立他為王來管理以色列；你們也要吹號角，說：「願所羅門王萬歲！」然後你們要跟隨他上來；使他來坐我的位；是他要接替我作王的；我已經委任他做人君來管理以色列和猶大。耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅應聲對王說：『阿們；願永恆主我主我王的上帝也這樣吩咐。永恆主怎樣和我主我王同在，願他也怎樣和所羅門同在，使他的王位比我主我王大衛的王位更尊大。』於是祭司撒督、神言人拿單、耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅、和做衛兵的基利提人比利提人都下去，使所羅門騎上大衛王的騾子，將他送到基訓。祭司撒督就從帳棚中取了盛膏油的角來，膏立了所羅門；人就吹號角，眾民都說：『願所羅門王萬歲！』

喂，你只管歡歡喜喜去喫你的飯吧；心裏高興去喝你的酒吧；因為上帝已經喜悅了你的工作。

在那裏、你們在永恆主你們的上帝面前、你們和你們的家眷都要喫喝；並且要因你們下手辦的一切事都蒙永恆主你的上帝賜福而歡樂。

於是拔示巴俯伏，面伏於地，向王下拜，說：『願我主我王大衛萬歲長生！』

我知道世人莫如時常歡喜、一生享樂；並且人人喫喝，在他一切的勞碌中經驗經驗享樂，這也是上帝的恩賜。

那時你們就必須有一個地方、是永恆主你們的上帝所選擇、做他名之居所的地方；你們要將我所吩咐你們獻的：燔祭、和別的祭物、十分之一獻物、和手奉的提獻物、以及一切最好的還願祭、就是你們所許願獻與永恆主的、都帶到那地方。你們要在永恆主你們的上帝面前歡樂，你們跟你們的兒子和女兒、你們的奴僕和使女、以及在你們城內的利未人、都要歡樂，因為利未人不同你們一樣有分有業。

現今世富足的人呢、你要囑咐他們別存着高傲的心，不要把盼望釘住於財富之無定上，卻要釘住於那將萬物豐豐富富供給我們享受、的上帝；囑咐他們要行善，要在好事上富足，甘心施捨，樂意同人分享，

我，我於是稱讚喜樂；因為人在日光之下莫如喫喝喜樂；儘上帝在日光之下所賜給他的一生年日、這必在他的勞碌中時刻伴着他。

過節的時候、你要歡樂，你跟你兒子和女兒、你的奴僕和使女、以及在你城內的利未人、寄居者、孤兒、寡婦、都要歡樂。你要在永恆主所要選擇的地方、過節拜永恆主你的上帝；因為永恆主你的上帝在你一切的出產上、和你手裏辦的一切事上、必賜福與你，你就要痛痛快快地歡樂。『一年三次你所有的男丁都要朝見永恆主你的上帝，在他所要選擇的地方、當除酵節七七節住棚節的時候朝見他；可不要空手朝見永恆主；各人要按手頭的力量照永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的福獻禮物。

眾民都去喫喝，也將祭肉分兒送給人，大大歡喜作樂，因為他們明白所教訓他們的話。

七月二十三日，王遣散了眾民回家；眾民因見了永恆主向大衛所羅門和他人民以色列所施的恩惠，他們心裏都很歡喜快樂。

他不伸手責罰以色列人中貴顯的人；他們儘管瞻仰上帝，又喫又喝。

人莫如喫喝，且在勞碌中讓自已經驗經驗享樂；我看這也是出於上帝的手。
