The Hebrews are crawling out of their holes!”Then the men from the outpost shouted to Jonathan,“ Come on up here, and we’ll teach you a lesson!”“ Come on, climb right behind me,” Jonathan said to his armor bearer,“ for the Lord will help us defeat them!”

Fight as never before, Philistines! If you don’t, we will become the Hebrews’ slaves just as they have been ours! Stand up like men and fight!”

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”Then Moses called for Joshua, and as all Israel watched, he said to him,“ Be strong and courageous!
