Joab said,“ If the Arameans are too strong for me, then you are to rescue me; but if the Ammonites are too strong for you, then I will rescue you.

And he said,“ If the Syrians are too strong for me, then you shall help me, but if the Ammonites are too strong for you, then I will help you.

He said,“ If the Arameans are too strong for me, then you shall help me; but if the sons of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will help you.

Then he said,“ If the Syrians are too strong for me, then you shall help me; but if the people of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will help you.

And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me; but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.

“ If the Arameans are too strong for me,” Joab said,“ then you’ll be my help. However, if the Ammonites are too strong for you, I’ll help you.

And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.

Joab said,“ If the Arameans start to overpower me, you come to my rescue. If the Ammonites start to overpower you, I will come to your rescue.

He said,“ If the Syrians are too strong for me, then you are to help me; but if the children of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will help you.

Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.

Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News.Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself.

When you hear the blast of the trumpet, rush to wherever it is sounding. Then our God will fight for us!”
