  • Romans 7:9 - I was once alive apart from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin came to life, and I died;
  • Romans 7:10 - and this commandment, which was to result in life, proved to result in death for me;
  • Romans 7:11 - for sin, taking an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me, and through it, killed me.
  • Romans 7:12 - So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.
  • Romans 7:13 - Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? Far from it! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by bringing about my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.
  • Romans 7:14 - For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold into bondage to sin.
  • Romans 13:8 - Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.
  • Romans 13:9 - For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
  • Romans 13:10 - Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the Law.
  • Galatians 2:21 - I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”
  • Romans 8:4 - so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
  • Matthew 5:17 - “Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
