  • Psalms 88:8 - You have taken my friends from me. You have made me an abomination to them. I am confined, and I can’t escape.
  • Psalms 88:9 - My eyes are dim from grief. I have called on you daily, Yahweh. I have spread out my hands to you.
  • Psalms 88:10 - Do you show wonders to the dead? Do the departed spirits rise up and praise you? Selah.
  • Psalms 88:11 - Is your loving kindness declared in the grave? Or your faithfulness in Destruction?

  • Psalms 71:2 - Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me. Turn your ear to me, and save me.
  • Psalms 104:29 - You hide your face; they are troubled. You take away their breath; they die and return to the dust.
  • Isaiah 8:17 - I will wait for Yahweh, who hides his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
  • Psalms 70:1 - Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, Yahweh.
