  • Numbers 30:14 - But if her husband in fact says nothing to her from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or all her binding obligations which are on her; he has confirmed them, because he said nothing to her on the day he heard them.
  • Numbers 30:15 - However, if he actually annuls them after he has heard them, then he shall bear the responsibility for her guilt.”

  • Ecclesiastes 5:4 - When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow!
  • Ecclesiastes 5:5 - It is better that you not vow, than vow and not pay.
  • Ecclesiastes 5:6 - Do not let your speech cause you to sin, and do not say in the presence of the messenger of God that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice, and destroy the work of your hands?
  • Leviticus 19:12 - And you shall not swear falsely by My name, so as to profane the name of your God; I am the Lord.
  • Deuteronomy 23:21 - “When you make a vow to the Lord your God, you shall not delay to pay it, for the Lord your God will certainly require it of you, and it will be a sin for you.
