Luke 12:17 - and he thought to himself, ‘What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?’

Romans 4:11 - He received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. The purpose was to make him the father of all who believe without being circumcised, so that righteousness would be counted to them as well,
Romans 4:12 - and to make him the father of the circumcised who are not merely circumcised but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.
Romans 4:13 - For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would be heir of the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith.
Romans 4:14 - For if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void.
Romans 4:15 - For the law brings wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression.
Romans 4:16 - That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
Romans 4:17 - as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.
Galatians 4:22 - For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by a slave woman and one by a free woman.
Galatians 4:23 - But the son of the slave was born according to the flesh, while the son of the free woman was born through promise.
Galatians 4:24 - Now this may be interpreted allegorically: these women are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children for slavery; she is Hagar.
Galatians 4:25 - Now Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia; she corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children.
Galatians 4:26 - But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.
Galatians 4:27 - For it is written, “Rejoice, O barren one who does not bear; break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than those of the one who has a husband.”
Galatians 4:28 - Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.
Galatians 4:29 - But just as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.
Galatians 4:30 - But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman and her son, for the son of the slave woman shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.”
Galatians 4:31 - So, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free woman.
Luke 5:22 - When Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answered them, “Why do you question in your hearts?

Romans 4:1 - What then shall we say was gained by Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh?
John 8:33 - They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?”
Acts 13:26 - “Brothers, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to us has been sent the message of this salvation.
Galatians 3:27 - For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:29 - And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.
Romans 9:7 - and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring, but “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.”
Romans 9:8 - This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as offspring.
Luke 3:8 - Bear fruits in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham.
