  • Acts 8:18 - When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money
  • Acts 8:19 - and said, “Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”

  • 1 Corinthians 5:1 - It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife.

  • 2 Peter 2:21 - It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.
  • 2 Peter 2:22 - Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.”
