Matthew 25:4 - But the wise ones took flasks of olive oil with their lamps.

Acts 5:1 - Now a man named Ananias, together with Sapphira his wife, sold a piece of property.
Acts 5:2 - He kept back for himself part of the proceeds with his wife’s knowledge; he brought only part of it and placed it at the apostles’ feet.
Acts 5:3 - But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back for yourself part of the proceeds from the sale of the land?
Acts 5:4 - Before it was sold, did it not belong to you? And when it was sold, was the money not at your disposal? How have you thought up this deed in your heart? You have not lied to people but to God!”
Acts 5:5 - When Ananias heard these words he collapsed and died, and great fear gripped all who heard about it.
Acts 5:6 - So the young men came, wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.
Acts 5:7 - After an interval of about three hours, his wife came in, but she did not know what had happened.
Acts 5:8 - Peter said to her, “Tell me, were the two of you paid this amount for the land?” Sapphira said, “Yes, that much.”
Acts 5:9 - Peter then told her, “Why have you agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out!”
Acts 5:10 - At once she collapsed at his feet and died. So when the young men came in, they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.
2 Peter 2:1 - But false prophets arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. These false teachers will infiltrate your midst with destructive heresies, even to the point of denying the Master who bought them. As a result, they will bring swift destruction on themselves.
2 Peter 2:2 - And many will follow their debauched lifestyles. Because of these false teachers, the way of truth will be slandered.
2 Peter 2:3 - And in their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. Their condemnation pronounced long ago is not sitting idly by; their destruction is not asleep.
2 Corinthians 12:20 - For I am afraid that somehow when I come I will not find you what I wish, and you will find me not what you wish. I am afraid that somehow there may be quarreling, jealousy, intense anger, selfish ambition, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorder.
2 Corinthians 12:21 - I am afraid that when I come again, my God may humiliate me before you, and I will grieve for many of those who previously sinned and have not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and licentiousness that they have practiced.

2 Timothy 4:3 - For there will be a time when people will not tolerate sound teaching. Instead, following their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves, because they have an insatiable curiosity to hear new things.
2 Timothy 4:4 - And they will turn away from hearing the truth, but on the other hand they will turn aside to myths.
John 15:6 - If anyone does not remain in me, he is thrown out like a branch, and dries up; and such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and are burned up.
2 Timothy 3:2 - For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 - unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, savage, opposed to what is good,
2 Timothy 3:4 - treacherous, reckless, conceited, loving pleasure rather than loving God.
2 Timothy 3:5 - They will maintain the outward appearance of religion but will have repudiated its power. So avoid people like these.
1 Corinthians 5:1 - It is actually reported that sexual immorality exists among you, the kind of immorality that is not permitted even among the Gentiles, so that someone is cohabiting with his father’s wife.
1 Corinthians 5:2 - And you are proud! Shouldn’t you have been deeply sorrowful instead and removed the one who did this from among you?
1 Corinthians 5:3 - For even though I am absent physically, I am present in spirit. And I have already judged the one who did this, just as though I were present.
1 Corinthians 5:4 - When you gather together in the name of our Lord Jesus, and I am with you in spirit, along with the power of our Lord Jesus,
1 Corinthians 5:5 - turn this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 5:6 - Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast affects the whole batch of dough?

1 Corinthians 10:6 - These things happened as examples for us, so that we will not crave evil things as they did.
1 Corinthians 10:7 - So do not be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.”
1 Corinthians 10:8 - And let us not be immoral, as some of them were, and twenty-three thousand died in a single day.
1 Corinthians 10:9 - And let us not put Christ to the test, as some of them did, and were destroyed by snakes.
1 Corinthians 10:10 - And do not complain, as some of them did, and were killed by the destroying angel.
1 Corinthians 10:11 - These things happened to them as examples and were written for our instruction, on whom the ends of the ages have come.
1 Corinthians 10:12 - So let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall.

Luke 14:21 - So the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the master of the household was furious and said to his slave, ‘Go out quickly to the streets and alleys of the city, and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’
Luke 14:22 - Then the slave said, ‘Sir, what you instructed has been done, and there is still room.’
Luke 14:23 - So the master said to his slave, ‘Go out to the highways and country roads and urge people to come in, so that my house will be filled.
2 Corinthians 11:13 - For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

2 Peter 2:16 - yet was rebuked for his own transgression (a dumb donkey, speaking with a human voice, restrained the prophet’s madness).
2 Peter 2:17 - These men are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm, for whom the utter depths of darkness have been reserved.
2 Peter 2:18 - For by speaking high-sounding but empty words they are able to entice, with fleshly desires and with debauchery, people who have just escaped from those who reside in error.
2 Peter 2:19 - Although these false teachers promise such people freedom, they themselves are enslaved to immorality. For whatever a person succumbs to, to that he is enslaved.
2 Peter 2:20 - For if after they have escaped the filthy things of the world through the rich knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they again get entangled in them and succumb to them, their last state has become worse for them than their first.
2 Peter 2:21 - For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, having known it, to turn back from the holy commandment that had been delivered to them.
2 Peter 2:22 - They are illustrations of this true proverb: “A dog returns to its own vomit,” and “A sow, after washing herself, wallows in the mire.”
