1Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You. Ps 94:22

3As for the holy people who are in the land, Dt 7:6; 14:2; 26:19

they are the noble ones.

All my delight is in them.

4The sorrows of those who take another god

for themselves will multiply;

I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood,

and I will not speak their names with my lips. Ex 23:13; Jos 23:7

5Lord, You are my portion Or allotted portion

and my cup of blessing;

You hold my future. Nm 18:20; Ps 119:57; Lm 3:24

6The boundary lines have fallen for me

in pleasant places;

indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. Jr 3:19

7I will praise the Lord who counsels me Ps 73:24 —

even at night my conscience instructs me. Ps 77:6

8I keep the Lord in mind Lit front of me always.

Because He is at my right hand,

I will not be shaken. Ps 15:5; 112:6

9Therefore my heart is glad

and my spirit rejoices;

my body also rests securely. Ps 4:7-8; 13:5

10For You will not abandon me to Sheol; Ps 49:10; 86:13

You will not allow Your Faithful One to see decay. Jb 33:18,28; Ps 30:3; 103:4; Ac 13:35

11You reveal the path of life to me;

in Your presence is abundant joy; Ps 21:6

in Your right hand are eternal pleasures. Ac 2:25-28
