因此，林中的獅子必害死他們；晚上的豺狼必滅絕他們；豹子要在城外窺伺他們。凡出城的必被撕碎；因為他們的罪過極多，背道的事也加增了。

他在村莊埋伏等候；他在隱密處殺害無辜的人。他的眼睛窺探無倚無靠的人；他埋伏在暗地，如獅子蹲在洞中。他埋伏，要擄去困苦人；他拉網，就把困苦人擄去。他屈身蹲伏，無倚無靠的人就倒在他爪牙之下。

暴虐的君王轄制貧民，好像吼叫的獅子、覓食的熊。

你的官長居心悖逆，與盜賊作伴，各都喜愛賄賂，追求贓私。他們不為孤兒伸冤；寡婦的案件也不得呈到他們面前。

我說：雅各的首領，以色列家的官長啊，你們要聽！你們不當知道公平嗎？你們惡善好惡，從人身上剝皮，從人骨頭上剔肉，吃我民的肉，剝他們的皮，打折他們的骨頭，分成塊子像要下鍋，又像釜中的肉。到了遭災的時候，這些人必哀求耶和華，他卻不應允他們。那時他必照他們所行的惡事向他們掩面。

按我所見，耕罪孽、種毒害的人都照樣收割。神一出氣，他們就滅亡；神一發怒，他們就消沒。獅子的吼叫和猛獅的聲音盡都止息；少壯獅子的牙齒也都敲掉。老獅子因絕食而死；母獅之子也都離散。

惟有你的眼和你的心專顧貪婪，流無辜人的血，行欺壓和強暴。

雅各家的首領、以色列家的官長啊，當聽我的話！你們厭惡公平，在一切事上屈枉正直；以人血建立錫安，以罪孽建造耶路撒冷。首領為賄賂行審判；祭司為雇價施訓誨；先知為銀錢行占卜。他們卻倚賴耶和華，說：耶和華不是在我們中間嗎？災禍必不臨到我們。

「看哪，以色列的首領各逞其能，在你中間流人之血。
