即於命令未出、光陰未逝、其速如糠、耶和華烈怒未降、忿恚之日未至以先、會集而來、

其日伊邇、流光荏苒、譬諸飄風、簸揚秕糠、我命未出、爾當自省、而悔厥過、

祂發怒，誰能站立？祂發烈怒，誰能承受？祂的憤怒如火焰噴湧而出，磐石在祂面前崩裂。

他們像晨霧，如轉瞬即逝的朝露，像麥場上飛旋而去的糠秕，又像窗口冒出的輕煙。

雖然萬民喧囂如洶湧的洪水，但上帝一聲斥責，他們便逃往遠方，像山頂上被風捲走的糠秕，又如狂風颳走的塵埃。

耶和華大發烈怒，傾倒祂的怒氣，在錫安燃起大火，焚毀城的根基。

惡人的光景卻截然不同！他們就像被風吹散的糠秕。

「因此，等著我吧，等著我指控的那一天吧。我已決定召集列國列邦，向他們傾倒我的烈怒，我的怒火必吞噬天下。這是耶和華說的。

他們何曾像風中的碎稭，像被暴風捲去的糠秕？

耶和華說，『我要照猶大王所讀的那書上的一切話，降災難給這地方及這裡的居民。因為他們背棄我，給別的神明燒香，製造偶像惹我發怒，我的怒火要在這地方燃燒，絕不止息。

在耶和華發怒的日子，他們的金銀救不了他們。祂的怒火必吞噬大地，祂必驟然毀滅一切世人。」

「主要降臨的應許在哪裡？從我們的祖先長眠地下直到現在，萬物依舊與創世之初一樣。」他們故意忽略：太初，上帝憑口中的話語創造了諸天，並藉著水從水中造出了地；後來，那個世界被水淹沒而毀滅了。同樣，現在的天地要憑上帝的話語存留到不敬虔的人被審判和毀滅的日子，那時天地要被火焚燒。親愛的弟兄姊妹，有一件事你們不可忽略，就是主看一日如千年，千年如一日。主的應許還未實現，有人以為祂拖延，其實祂不是拖延，而是在寬容你們。祂不願任何人滅亡，願意人人悔改。不過，主再來的日子要像賊一樣突然臨到。那日，諸天必在一聲巨響中消失，有形有質的都要被烈火焚毀，大地和其中的一切將不復存在。

然而，瑪拿西所行的一切惹怒耶和華，耶和華對猶大仍盛怒未息。耶和華說：「我要像驅逐以色列人一樣將猶大人從我面前趕走。我要撇棄我所揀選的耶路撒冷和我名常在的殿。」

天地都要過去，但我的話永遠長存。

耶和華不完成祂心中的計劃決不息怒。將來你們會清楚地明白這一切。

「萬軍之耶和華說，『那日要來臨了，就像燒紅的火爐，所有狂妄自大、作惡多端的人都要像碎稭一樣被火燒盡，連根帶枝，蕩然無存。但必有公義的太陽為你們這些敬畏我名的人升起，它的光芒有醫治的能力。你們必像欄中出來的牛犢一樣歡欣跳躍。

「你們要努力進窄門，因為我告訴你們，將來有許多人想要進卻進不去。當主人起來把門關閉之後，你們才站在外面叩門哀求，說，『主啊，給我們開門吧！』主人必說，『我不認識你們，你們是從哪裡來的？』「那時，你們必說，『我們不是在一起用過餐嗎？你不是在街上教導過我們嗎？』「主人必說，『我告訴你們，我不認識你們，也不知道你們是從哪裡來的。你們這些作惡的人，走開！』「當你們看見亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各和眾先知在上帝的國，自己卻被丟在門外，必要在那裡哀哭切齒。

因為祂是我們的上帝，我們是祂照管的子民，是祂牧放的羊群。你們今日若聽見祂的聲音，不可像你們祖先在米利巴，在曠野的瑪撒那樣心裡頑固。

忘記上帝的人啊，你們要省察，免得我毀滅你們，那時誰也救不了你們。

看啊，我要使你成為一具簇新、帶許多利齒的打穀器。你要打爛高山，使丘陵碎如糠秕。你要簸它們，讓風吹散它們，讓狂風捲走它們。但你要以耶和華為喜樂，以以色列的聖者為榮耀。

他們卻嘲弄耶和華上帝的使者，藐視祂的話，嘲笑祂的先知，以致祂的憤怒臨到祂的子民身上，無可挽救。耶和華使迦勒底人的王起兵攻打他們，在他們的聖殿裡用刀擊殺他們的壯丁，毫不憐憫少男少女、老人和年高者。耶和華把他們全部交在他的手中。

要降服在祂兒子面前，免得祂發怒，你們便在罪惡中滅亡，因為祂的怒氣將臨。投靠祂的人有福了！

我是耶和華，我的話都必實現，決不遲延。你們這叛逆的人啊，我說的話必在你們有生之年應驗！」這是主耶和華說的。
