还有那些在屋顶拜天上万象的，那些敬拜耶和华指着他起誓，却又指着米勒公起誓的；

我必铲除那些在屋顶祭拜天上万象的人，铲除敬拜我、凭我起誓又凭米勒公起誓的人，

就是那些在房顶上敬拜天上万象的，那些敬拜耶和华，指着他起誓，又指着玛勒公起誓的，

與那些在房頂上敬拜天上萬象的，並那些敬拜耶和華指着他起誓，又指着瑪勒堪起誓的，

還有那些在屋頂拜天上萬象的，那些敬拜耶和華指着他起誓，卻又指着米勒公起誓的；

就是那些在房頂上敬拜天上萬象的，那些敬拜耶和華，指著他起誓，又指著瑪勒公起誓的，

剪除那些在房頂上敬拜天上萬象的，剪除那些敬拜永恆主，指着永恆主來起誓、竟又指着米勒公來起誓的，

以及凡在屋巔、崇拜天象者、並崇拜耶和華、指耶和華而誓、亦指瑪勒堪而誓者、

凡在樓巔、崇拜天象、更奉事耶和華、指耶和華而誓、亦指抹干而誓、

凡在樓巔崇拜天象、又崇拜耶和華、指耶和華而誓、又指瑪勒堪瑪勒堪即摩洛又名米勒公亞捫族之神名而誓、

those who bow down on the roofs to worship the starry host, those who bow down and swear by the Lord and who also swear by Molek,

I will destroy those who bow down on their roofs to worship all the stars. I will destroy those who make promises not only in my name but also in the name of Molek.

those who bow down on the roofs to the host of the heavens, those who bow down and swear to the Lord and yet swear by Milcom,

For they go up to their roofs and bow down to the sun, moon, and stars. They claim to follow the Lord, but then they worship Molech, too.

those who bow in worship on the rooftops to the stars in the sky; those who bow and pledge loyalty to the LORD but also pledge loyalty to Milcom;

And those who bow down on the housetops to the heavenly lights, And those who bow down and swear to the Lord, but also swear by Milcom,

Those who worship the host of heaven on the housetops; Those who worship and swear oaths by the Lord, But who also swear by Milcom;

and them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship, that swear to Jehovah and swear by Malcam;

those who bow in worship on the rooftops to the heavenly host; those who bow and pledge loyalty to the Lord but also pledge loyalty to Milcom;

And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship[ and] that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

I will remove those who worship the stars in the sky from their rooftops, those who swear allegiance to the LORD while taking oaths in the name of their‘ king,’

those who worship the army of the sky on the housetops, those who worship and swear by Yahweh and also swear by Malcam,

你們抬著為自己造的神像——你們的王撒固和星神迦溫。

以利亞走到眾人面前說：「你們三心二意要到什麼時候呢？如果耶和華是上帝，你們當跟從祂；如果巴力是上帝，你們就跟從他吧！」他們都默不作聲。

他推倒猶大各王在亞哈斯樓頂上建造的祭壇，摧毀瑪拿西在耶和華殿的兩個院子裡所築的祭壇，把它們打碎，把灰丟進汲淪溪。

「一個人不能服侍兩位主人，因為他不是恨這位、愛那位，就是重這位、輕那位。你們不能又事奉上帝，又崇拜金錢。

這個說，『我屬於耶和華』，那個說，『我是雅各的子孫』，還有人手上寫著，『耶和華之民』，稱自己屬於以色列。

所羅門拜西頓人的女神亞斯她錄和亞捫人的可憎神明米勒公。

我憑自己起誓，我口中的話真實可靠，絕不更改，『萬膝必向我跪拜，萬口必起誓效忠於我。』

「雖然以色列如同妓女，對我不忠，但不要使猶大犯罪。不要到吉甲去，不要到伯·亞文去，不要憑永活的耶和華起誓。

聖經上說：「主說，『我憑我的永恆起誓，萬膝必向我跪拜，萬口必稱頌上帝。』」

如果你本著誠實、正直、公義，憑永活的耶和華起誓，你必成為萬國的祝福，得到他們的尊敬。」

耶和華說：「耶路撒冷啊，我怎能赦免你呢？你的兒女背棄我，憑假神起誓。我供應他們的一切需要，他們卻縱情淫亂，湧向娼妓的家。

你們要敬畏你們的上帝耶和華，事奉祂，倚靠祂，憑祂的名起誓。

他們必放火焚城，把城中的房屋付之一炬，城中的居民曾在房頂上向巴力燒香、向假神奠酒，惹我發怒。

「雅各家啊，聽我說！你們被稱為以色列人，是猶大的子孫，憑耶和華的名起誓、呼求以色列的上帝，卻不真心誠意。

不可與你們中間剩下的異族混雜，不可提他們的神明或憑它們起誓，不可供奉、祭拜他們的神明。
