I will utterly consume all things from off the face of the ground, saith Jehovah.

耶和华说：“我必从地上除灭万类。

耶和華說：“我必把萬物從地上完全除滅。”

永恆主發神諭說：『我必從地面上徹底掃滅一切。

耶和華曰、我必盡滅萬類於地、

我於斯土、必使百物殄絶、

曰、我於斯地、必除滅萬類、

“ I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” announces the Lord.

“ I will utterly sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” says the Lord.

I will completely sweep away everything from the face of the earth— this is the LORD’s declaration.

“ I will completely remove all things From the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will utterly consume everything From the face of the land,” Says the Lord;

I will completely sweep away everything from the face of the earth— this is the Lord’s declaration.

I will utterly consume all[ things] from off the land, saith the LORD.

“ I will destroy everything from the face of the earth,” says the LORD.

I will utterly sweep away everything from the surface of the earth, says Yahweh.

Thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read.Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the work of their hands, therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and it shall not be quenched.

Yet shall the land be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

Thus shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: As I live, surely they that are in the waste places shall fall by the sword; and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured; and they that are in the strongholds and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.And I will make the land a desolation and an astonishment; and the pride of her power shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, so that none shall pass through.Then shall they know that I am Jehovah, when I have made the land a desolation and an astonishment, because of all their abominations which they have committed.

to fulfil the word of Jehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its sabbaths: for as long as it lay desolate it kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.

And as the bad figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so bad, surely thus saith Jehovah, So will I give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt,I will even give them up to be tossed to and fro among all the kingdoms of the earth for evil; to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.

Behold, I will command, saith Jehovah, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant.

And Jehovah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the ground; both man, and beast, and creeping things, and birds of the heavens; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul be alienated from thee; lest I make thee a desolation, a land not inhabited.Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, They shall thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn again thy hand as a grape- gatherer into the baskets.

Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until cities be waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land become utterly waste,

And concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah thou shalt say, Thus saith Jehovah: Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?
